Default After WWTS I'm Paranoid of even the A+ Books!! How About VIP?

Please, please, please let this Bodog deal work out so I can get my WWTS money!!

Okay, I have most of the A books already but I do want another. I'm thinking about VIP. I guess one of the big key issues about WWTS was that it was a publicly traded company and VIP also was but has been bought out. So this does not change their grade? Isn't it a completely new owner? I don't want to get caught with a stale A grade.

(I guess the same question goes with Sportingbet but I'll ask that in another thread.)

I have been with BetGameDay, who is also under the VIP umbrella, for a long time. i use pinnacle and cris for most bets but occasionally i'll find a good line with gameday. i have collected 15K from them over the last 2 weeks and the payments were processed quickly and put into neteller. i don't know much about this new owner but so far things have been as normal. hopefully john and others will be able to give you more info but i feel comfortable with my money in the
    VIP family.

I think I'm paranoid now. I see VIP still has an A+. So does this mean the fact that it went public to private does not matter. I don't understand this stuff. It got sold for a buck. Can I put significant funds in there and have the same confidence that I'd have at say Greek or Pinny.

Its an A+ but I'm finding I want a vote of confidence. Any of you SBR guys around....?

IMHO, no. If you want to have secure funds, I think you're safe at Pinny, Greek, WSEX, CRIS, Cascade, Bowmans, BetJamaica, 5dimes, Legendz/ThePig.

The VIP deal has been done for 2 weeks, so is Sportsbook.

VIP returns to be soley owned by Alistair Assheton and Sportsbook is now owned by Patrick. Its bascially a throwback to the way it was before they went public. These guys sold for many millions and bought back for a buck.

pinnacle, Cris, betjamaica and WSEX (matchbook too) are all I can recommend at this point...I have money in Legendz and expect them to be OK, but I'd just recommend those four/ five at this point...
