Unhappy North Korea all done fukking around

Washington, 9 June (WashingtonTV)—North Korea on Tuesday warned that it would use its nuclear weapons in a “merciless offensive” if provoked, raising already tense ties between the reclusive state and the international community.

The threat comes as the United Nations Security Council is working to impose additional sanctions against the North, to punish it for its nuclear test on 25 May.

“Our nuclear deterrent will be a strong defensive means … as well as a merciless offensive means to deal a just retaliatory strike to those who touch the country’s dignity and sovereignty even a bit,” the state-run Minju Joson newspaper said, according to the Associated Press.

On Monday, the North’s main Rodong Sinmum daily said that the country will consider any sanctions a declaration of war, and would respond with “self-defense measures”.

Meanwhile, the top US intelligence official warned yesterday that North Korea’s recent nuclear and missile tests and questions over who will succeed the country’s leader makes for a “potentially dangerous mixture”.

Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair said that while North Korea’s recent behavior was following a “familiar pattern”, it was now testing potentially devastating weapons.

“The level of risk is higher,” he said late Monday at an event in Washington, according to the Bloomberg news network.

South Korean media reported last week that Pyongyang appears to be assembling a long-range missile, which could possibly reach Alaska.

They had also reported that North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-Il, had named his third son, Jong Un, to replace him.

“Any time you have a combination of this behavior of doing provocative things in order to excite a response, plus succession question, you have a pretty dangerous, potentially dangerous mixture,” said Blair.

US President Barack Obama said on Saturday that the North’s actions were “extraordinarily provocative” and vowed that its behavior would not be rewarded.

We attack Iraq on the premise of "WMDs" even though they had jack shit then continually let Iran and Korea slide, the two wars we are now in have been so poorly handled these fcvks think they can talk shit and do whatever they want, I say its time we showed them the good old USA still has some bite left, we hit those ass holes with strategic bombings to take out their capabilities and then drop one nuke on um just to prove our point

No chiropractor. Sticking with my neuro-surgeon. But to complicate things, a car load of nigerians pulled out in front of me yesterday and I T-Boned them. I am sore as hell. I just had 2 injections in my spine last friday and was feeling pretty good. And now I'm hurting again

They're more of a threat than Iraq ever was...

Plus, any rogue country that wants, has, or is making a nuclear weapon is a threat 'cause they'll be stupid enough to use it and start a bigger war.

Default Looks like DPRK continues to give USA the finger

MOSCOW (Reuters) – A Russian Foreign Ministry source on Tuesday said there were signs that North Korea was preparing new missile launches, Interfax news agency reported.

After a nuclear test in May, Pyongyang conducted missile launches. South Korea said the North was preparing to test a long-range missile capable of reaching U.S. territory and mid-range missiles that could strike South Korea or Japan.

"Information is coming to us that there are signs of preparations for the launch of missiles," the unnamed Russian source was quoted as saying.

The diplomat said North Korea's temporary ban on navigation in certain areas of the Yellow and Japan Seas was an indication it was preparing to conduct a missile test, Interfax reported.

The source did not clarify what type of launch was anticipated.

"We have not received any formal information about this from the North Korean side," the source was quoted as saying.

Russian authorities regularly release information to local news agencies via unnamed foreign ministry officials.

Israel would still be fighting wars with sticks but the USA gives them everything they need to shift the power in the middle east. When other nations develop advance weapon systems and build up the military they run to the UN and cry like pussies. Seems to me the USA has a lot more problems to deal with than worrying about what some third world country is doing.

Default Apparently the DPRK didn't like comments made by the USA

(RTTNews) - North Korea has reacted sharply to a U.S. statement by threatening to carry out a "thousand-fold" military retaliation against America and its allies, if provoked.

"If the U.S. and its followers infringe upon our republic's sovereignty even a bit, our military and people will launch a one hundred- or one thousand-fold retaliation with merciless military strikes," a commentary published by the official Korean Central News Agency as well as the government-run Minju Joson newspaper said.

At a news conference with his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-bak Tuesday, U.S. President Barack Obama declared North Korea a "grave threat" to the world, and pledged that recent UN sanctions on the communist regime would be strictly enforced.

The two leaders agreed to build a regional and global "strategic alliance" to persuade North Korea to dismantle its nuclear weapons.

The commentary described Obama "a hypocrite" for advocating a nuclear-free world, while making "frantic efforts" to develop new nuclear weapons at home.
"The nuclear program is not the monopoly of the U.S.," it added.

North Korea's muscle-flexing of its nuclear defense capability in recent months evoked protests and concerns from the global community.

Friday, the UN Security Council approved tough sanctions against North Korea, including inspection of ships suspected of taking banned cargo to and from North Korea, a wider ban on arms sales and further measures to cut Pyongyang's access to international financial services.

Provoked by these punitive measures, Pyongyang said it would start enriching uranium and use all its plutonium for making nuclear weapons.

Japan has taken action by banning all trade with North Korea. Despite being the reclusive Communist nation's main ally and which saved it from being overrun by U.N. forces in the early 1950s through military intervention, China said it would "earnestly implement" the new sanctions.

I would think the only folks with any real concern about the NKs are the SKs, ChiComs, and Japan.

The SKs need the U.S. Military, but the Chinese could turn NK into a 100,000 year nitelite tomorrow (today for that matter).

The Japanese are currently seeking approval from their allies to institute nukes for their own defense.

We can hopefully have the 26 year old son of the crazy man take over and take our chances with him. Otherwise, Its very possible the US will make a first strike nuclear attack to prevent North Korea from being able to deliver an atomic strike. I would guess we are watching them very close. Any attempt to load an atomic device onto a missle or aircraft will likely bring a first strike.

Default North Korea Threatens To Wipe U.S. Off The Map

North Korea today threatened to wipe the United States Of America off the map. According to reports, the U.S. and allies are watching to see if North Korea will launch missiles in the coming days.

According to Yahoo News, "Off China's coast, a U.S. destroyer was tailing a North Korean ship suspected of transporting illicit weapons to Myanmar in what could be the first test of U.N. sanctions passed to punish the nation for an underground nuclear test last month. The Kang Nam left the North Korean port of Nampo a week ago with the USS John S. McCain close behind. The ship, accused of transporting banned goods in the past, is believed bound for Myanmar, according to South Korean and U.S. officials."

A new resolution in the U.N. Security Council states that they can now inspect suspicious cargo. North Korea said that inspecting one of their ships would be a declaration of war. Korea is calling out to the U.S. saying that they are trying to start another Korean War. They promised to wipe the U.S. off the globe once and for all if we tried any such thing with them.
