This is who they were talking to the last couple of days but we were skeptical knowing Calvin's business model of one brand.

BTW, we just hung up with the CEO of WWTS who was pretty clear that there is no deal yet.

The eog is speculating that it will get done. There are wheels turning and we are talking several times a day to the CEO of WWTS.

I guess nothing wrong with dressing it up as some kind of inside scoop and taking a guess that since those parties are talking there will be a deal. We all hope so.

Shrink says crazy things especially if juiced up with cocaine in his sytem so take it with a grain of salt.. I would only beleive info here at SBR.

Lets see what develops, it would be a good move for bodog.

I’m only a little more optimistic than I was last night. This is great news if it happens, but with SBR in contact with the principles I’ll wait for them to confirm it before I get my hopes up too much.

Talking several times a day to the CEO, well then how about is there any chance that they will actually keep our funds if there's no deal struck?

Anything is possible. I think anytime a book can justify delaying payments of money that is NOT theirs, then stiffing can't be ruled out.

But there is strong interest in WWTS from several potential buyers. So we wait and we will let you know the second we know.

I have some money in WWTS and really hope a deal goes through. That said, I there there's a LOT wrong with saying the deal is done when it is not. There's a lot of people with a lot of money at stake here, so to play with people's emotions like this is clearly for his own benefit and is in poor taste.

    Thats what EOG is reporting!!!

I would get my $$$ (don't have any at WWTS) out ASAP. Would be silly to keep a sizable balance w/Bodog.

    Why?

Their owner is a billionaire and their company is very very profitable, not just in sports and but poker and casino as well.

    John,

has the CEO indicated to you whether WWTS will make sure players have full access to thier funds if and when a deal is struck. Or is there a strong possibility players will be required to complete a rollover prior to withdrawing

Bodog will pay you, they won't let you keep betting if your a winner though.

I'd be suprised if their wasn't a rollover attached to the WWTS accts, if this happens.

    Marc,
We have not been told or given any indication of that level of detail. And if I knew I couldnt say.

So since we have not been advised I think I can speculate as general conversation. I don't believe we are talking about a deal with a rollover. There may be a small bonus for those who do not withdraw a-la Royal style, but I dont have any reason at all to believe the deal will involve a rollover.

Teeny quibble here -- IMO not a place to have a huge balance, but there are a minority of cases when their line is just, um, different enough to be of use.

At least it seems that way to me ---maybe I'm missing out on unconventional options that are superior.

(And I guess I don't win enough there to have experienced the freeze-out, either!!!)

If this is true, will Bodog refund Canadian's $$$ ? Canadians cannot bet w/Bodog.

For you folks asking "why" -- Why cannot Candians bet into Bodog? Answer that one and you will know why I wouldn't have a large balance with Calvin.

Calvin is an ass monkey, but at least he's one guy you knew wouldn't be phased by impotent legislation.

Canadians should have an active account at WWTS and be able to withdraw now.
