    Default Books offline

I'm happy with Cascade, but they're offline at the moment. No idea why. Mansion not accessible either, but at least a message on the page.

Which brings up the question: Why on earth don't books send an e-mail to notify clients of upcoming maintenance? How much trouble could that be?

Cascade is offline for me as well.

Im always having trouble with this books website. A support guy gave me an alternative URL

    http://www.cascadesportsbook.net/

Which worked fine for a while, but now I have not been able to reach their website for the last 4 days

It would appear to be a problem with my broadband provider as If I switch to dial-up I can get the site to load.

Also If I route my broadband via certain proxies it brings up the Cascade website ok.

But I don't fancy putting my password in when routing via proxy. How safe are these things I have visions of a geek stealing my password if I go down this route

You are exposing your password if you use a proxy so I'd be careful which one you use.

    Exactly that's why I won't use one

Thanks for the mirror site. Cascade is back up for me.

Not the best time for books to undervalue peace of mind.
