Lions +7. Have the offense to stay within the # if not win outright. Last meeting 49ers had to convert a 4th and goal to beat us which was originally stopped b4 crossing the goal line but not enough evidence to overturn the call.
Shwartz/Harbaugh handshake drama. Stafford will pick that defense apart, dont let the rams game fool you. Alex smith will constantly be under pressure from Suh.
Public will be all over 49ers as world beaters after beating GB on te road.

I will be rooting in Matty and the boys but I don't see this being close either. I think Lions get routed in this spot. Gore will have a field day.

im with you paco on the +7...i just dont have the balls to bet the lions ML. lions keep this game very close. if 49er's win by more than 7, it will be a pick 6 or fumble return late in the 4th.

I think the Lions are mentally weak, especially on the road. Stafford will get rushed and make bad decisions with the ball. Alex smith won't. SF can run, Lions can not. Lions have Calvin, but you know Harbaugh will gameplan against him. I think San Fran wins by about 10

The Lions looked bad against the Rams. The 49ers defense is just too good. Lions lost to the 49ers last year in Detroit at the very end of the game, but it won't be that close this time.

Article says West Coast teams in prime time are 70% against the spread vs East Coast teams. Sort of relevant.

Remember that the Lions lost at home against the 49ers last season.
This time the Lions are on the road with crowd noise effecting Stafford.
Home field advantage is critical. Road QB stuggles calling his plays through the noise.
The 49ers Defense will be too much for the Lions. And 49ers offense is no issue at all. I like 49ers to cover.
