It opened at +150 at Pinnacle. (I find it helps to have someone tell you lines that used to be available.)

Today the line has dropped to +125 to +130 at most books, I got +141 at matchbook.
Detroit +150 isn't available anywhere right now.

Well FWIW I won't be betting it but I would go with DET at plus numbers before I would lay the chalk on PITT.

You figured it out all by yourself, well done. 
I can't pass up this price on the better team, making Pitt favoured simply because they are at home seems wrong, the fact Crosby has been neutralized and Pitt has a grand total of two goals so far makes Detroit the right side.

No, I know PiMike, Chicago(Pitt)Archie, and Dwight Shroom are cheering for the Pens.
This looks like the only time big + moneyline odds will be available on the Wings, so I'm again cheering (wagering on) the Wings.

I get pissed when I miss a good opening number but get more annoyed when I buy in at the worst possible time, sometimes you guess wrong.
Basically I picked the best time to bet on the Penguins and instead bet Detroit.
That means lots of scared money on the Penguins, doesn't make sense to me, team loses two in a row and averages a goal a game so now you make them heavy favs 'cause they are "due" ?  |

Taking stock based on my wants is a dubious game.
As I say though, talking brain-wise as opposed to heart-wise, I like the value on Detroit at the plus number tonight.

I was trying to avoid missing the chance to grab Detroit at +140 or better so I took the +141 at matchy 'cause I would have kicked myself if it went to +125 or lower, now I'm pissed I missed the better line.
I guess erring on a +141 that went to +150 is better than getting it wrong if it went to +125 and I missed the +140.
Still big moneyline on an excellent team.
I'm hoping Detroit does to Pitt what Pitt did to Carolina. 4 straight.

I hate to agree, but I will.
Pit looked like they can play with Detroit on the road and got unlucky, hence they should win at home. But I think this is misleading. Pit game plan is unlikely to score many goals against Wings. They need a let down from Det which is probably not going to happen tonight.

can't pass up +154, who cares if pitt has the last change, who're they going to take advantage of on detroit?
pitt scores in game 1 off a bobbled puck by osgood. weak goal.
pitt scores in game 2 on a power play where they were putting good pressure on detroit, however it was the detroit defenseman that knocks the puck past osgood. another weak goal.
now i think pitt will probably score 2 or 3 legit goals tonight. but i think detroit does too. at even money i would take pitt, but at +154 i'll take my chances with detroit.

A motivated first 5 minutes and a goal was just what they (Pens) needed, but the game is 60 mins (at least) and Detroit stayed cool - as usual - and responded nicely.
While its still early in the game, getting + M/L on the Wings is huge.
