What casino game has the lowest house edge?
I know all games the house has the edge however most of us are gambling addicts and I enjoy going to the casino with friends.
We are going tomorrow night, we've been playing a lot of roulette and I learned on here last week that the house has the highest edge of any game in roulette. What game has the lowest house edge, giving the player the best chance to win?
I'm not a big time player and usually only take like $200, so I don't get comps or match plays.
Some good choices.......
1. Don't pass or Pass line in craps..........taking odds.
2. Baccarat(don't bet the tie)
3. Full-pay video poker(if you play perfect strategy)
4. Blackjack if you have a game with good rules and you count cards
5. Slot progressives
6. Free tournaments

Play the first two then............
If you play baccarat, just bet the banker or player and manage your money properly.........the game requires no skill.
In craps, bet $5 on the pass line and if a 7 or 11 hits you win, if a 2,3, or 12 hits you lose...........any other number and you will have to hit that before a 7 to win. Take odds behind your pass line bet that you will do this. The dealer will assist you.

onner, i pray to GOD that your casino offers roulette with ONLY 1 green zero.. i haven't been to vegas in a very long time, but i heard they have no more tables with 1 zero and all are now 2 zeros..
watch out for this.. the house adv is 5.26%.. no way in hell you have a chance there.. you will get eaten alive.. do you have any 1 zero tables?
you should come to the Montreal Casino. .we've got tables with ONLY 1 green.. that's what you need. stay away from the 2 zero tables.. you have no chance
might as well donate your money to charity..
at least with the 1 zero, your money will last longer.. but both ways, you will still lose it all.

Nicky, there are casinos with roulette tables with 1 zero in Vegas. Caesars Palace does have some, as does the Monte Carlo hotel, if I recall. I'm sure there are others with them.

Look, if you want to get your roulette fix, do so using matchplay coupons that pay you 2-1 on your wagers and you will not lose in the longrun.........and in fact, hammer the game.
In the near future, you will learn where to find these type of coupons from me. They can be had at many outlets.

Why not try to learn something?
Of course Fishead is right about Bac and pass line craps for the clueless.
But those two games offer no chance of + expectancy ( except for some possibly extremely creative players).
If you're concerned about vig learn something about the games. Look into possible promotions at the players club too.
Easiest way to do it. Hope for a hot shooter. Don't stand around too long waiting for a heater though.
Otherwise it's the 3/5 tables. Depending on where you are playing. Go to the ritziest hotel/casino in town. Look for the table having the most players with sunglasses on their heads. Play the tightest game of your life and you will rake. That's the best tip you will get in this thread.

onner, you know what i do when i play roulette? i turn roulette into a profitable game.. this is how..
i find 1 guy playing 100 a spin or more on outside #'s.. i tell him, lets each take turns and if it lands on any of the 2 greens, it's a push.. we pay after each spin. we both love it.. we dont worry about the green beating us and we each get turns to pick.. now it's a dead even game. no casino advantage. 50-50 chance of winning and losing.
my other one is the good one.. i find again 1 guy who bets 100 a spin or more.. i offer him to bet with me and each time he wins, i give him 105, instead of 100.. he loves it, and so do i..
i have done well off strangers in the last 12 yrs doing this.. it sounds like a great deal for them. why would they play with casino and win 100 each spin, when they can make 105 each spin.. i end up wtih the big advantage, but they think they have the advantage.. and they love the paying after each spin..
if you can pull off one of the two here, you can play at casino with NO disadvantage.

they NEVER say a thing to me.. they have even seen me doing it.. i just say i am betting with my friend for fun.. no problemo..
i can do what i want in there.
when i win, i get his chip. when i lose, i give him a chip, plus a 5$ chip.. it's so easy.. camera hardly can pick it up.

onner, do yourself a favor and take your 200 and buy into a 1/2 poker game. you enjoy poker and its a lot easier to take a suck out beat than a dealer banging a 5outer for 21 against your 20. you dont know the odds in craps and will wonder why your money is taken half the time. trust me. find a poker game. you are too young to take the mental anguish that casino games can do to you.

mikey, i have done this over 434 times, and never got caught. it's simple.. no one can ever find out.. this is how.. as ball is spinning, the guy whispers to you.. black.. you repeat, black.. he says, yes.. if it's red, he just hands you 100$ chip.. if it's black, you hand him 100$ chip.. now it's your turn.. as the ball is spinning, i say, even.. he whispers back, even.. i say yes.. it lands on even, he hands me 1 chip of 100$.. if not, i hand him.. now it's his turn, etc.. the best is when it lands on either green. do you have any idea how much we save in a 9 hr game? thousands.....
and the other one of offering a guy 105 on each win is just as easy to find than the even money game. and you know it's impossible to get caught cause no one notices us.. even if they are watching us.. all we're doing is standing next to each other watching the game and handing a chip to each other..
if you want to play roulette, you better do this or you will lose a ton.. and it's very easy to find someone to do this with.. 7 out of 10 will do it.. 3 out of 10 will shake their head no.. it's really a great deal for both.. those greens are killers..
The 105 payout is clever but the push with the green is seriously clever and the thing I like about it is you don't even need a stranger, you can play with a pal, and for the seriously paranoid you don't even need to exchange the chips at the time, just mark it with a pencil and paper and settle up at the bar. There's been many-a-time i've been in a casino with friends when we've all lost money, I like the idea of someone in the group winning the money the house would have otherwise had and as I said, it's such an obvious solution it's a wonder this doesn't happen everywhere, or maybe it does, I'll be doing it from now on.
mikey, i have done that so many times with my friends too.. instead of my buddy betting red and me on black, and it lands on green and we both lose everything.. all we do is we both take turns.. he likes red, i book it.. if its red, i pay him, if not, he gives me the cash.. now its my turn, i pick, i win, he pays me, if not, i pay him.. if it lands on green, we both save.
remember, 1 in every 19 spins lands on green.. that's money we both put in our pockets.. it adds up..

a bad poker player would give up more % wise than at any casino game.
I don't think this is workable in a casino. A good idea (-105) if you want to set up a casino at home and have some serious roulette players. (and a big bankroll)
why isn't it workable? i do it all the time..impossible to get caught..just dont flash cash.. just hand each other 1 chip after every spin..
i am shocked no one knows this.. every year at a super bowl party, we are 20 guys.. each guy calls up their bookie, or bet offshore.. and each lay -110.. so i always say to these guys, boys, instead of all of us laying -110 on one team, lets all gather all the Colts bettors laying -7.5 and then gather all the Bears bettors +7.5 and we all bet vs each other at even money and we pay after the game.. this way, instead of money being offshore, it's in our pockets instantly after the game and even money.. if i bet 600 on it and lose, i just saved 60 bucks.and the gang altogether saved about 300 bucks in juice on losses.. it paid for the whole party.. the food and beers, etc...
before matchy came along, i'd have all my buddies over who bet and every game they liked and i like opposite, we'd bet it at no juice.. i would save thousands each year.if line was -120/even.. one guy would take -110 and other guy takes +110.. we rounded off always in the middle of the line..
you guys are telling me no one here ever thought of betting vs your buddy and saving the juice when you both like opposite teams, instead of both of you calling up your bookies and laying -110?
