I thought there Max outgoing limit in 90 days is USD 7530.00

Something isn't adding up here, can you post the bookmakers name and info please?

If you verify your bank acct, your address, send them money from your acct and send them copy of ID your limit is close to 50K.

I am asking too! What was the bookie?

Well if it was sent to 11 different people he probably had nothing to do with it.

But should be easy for moneybookers to find the account where the funds are.

Could have a trojan on his PC that enabled a scumbag to steal his password & rob his Moneybookers A/C

Tommy do you have a Firewall & decent AntiVirus programs running on your pc?

Who was the Bookmaker the cash was sent to? Surely it would be easy for Moneybookers to trace this.

Maybe Bill will be able to help you out here if Moneybookers refuse you any further details.

Good luck $9k is a lot of cash to kiss goodbye too

I heard the same thing happened to Tommy söderström (the DIF-hockey-keeper)about a year ago.

moneybookers is not safe. (thats why I only got small amounts with them)

they have no secure like neteller.

perhaps you got half of it back? but I say moneybookers could be scammers.

hopefully you got it all back. They shall know who who recieved the money and investigate them. in other case they are scammers IMO.(I dont trust them at all)

probably some russians or some from east country(my tip) then they lose it on poker (dump-ship) and the money is gone........

this is a very tuff situation for you. I really hope you can have it back.

Morons..its not Moneybookers robbing/scamming him. its other users that has hacked into his account.

exactly. moneybookers is as safe as they get as a company, but just like with neteller and all these other e-wallets only your password (or pin or whatever) stands between your funds in your account and your account gone. so guard your pw with your life, change it often and really make sure it's a different pw than with the books you are usiing.

Seems to me that Books should have fail-safe systems that don't allow a hacker to steal all of your money only because he got your password. That was my point Shifer. Go take some Valium and get some sleep.

an A+ book should not allow anybody with a password to rob a client's account so easily.

Can we get an update SBR or Tommy30

a couple of years ago I tried withraw funds from moneybookers.

It was a rather big sum but the money was not recieved to my bank accounts for a couple of weeks.

I gave them emails(a couple of emails)

I asked my bank but they never recieved any withrawals-request from moneybookers. my bank is a big bank. and I have no problem from anywhere els.

Moneybookers answered finally on my many emails and told me it was problem with my bank. (but that was a lie IMO)

finally the funds arrives a month to late.

I asked my bank but they never recieved any payout from moneybookers in the first place.

moneybookers slow payed me at that time and since then I know I cant trust them 100%

neteller is different. You always can contact them LIVE chat or phone. If you noticed some suspiscious they always can check it up immiadetely.

Thats the big difference between thoose internet-banks. Neteller is secure. Moneybookers is not secure at all.

but I still use moneybookers but with very small amounts.

I always checks that I have not that lot of big sums there. If I got a bigger sum I go deposit it very fast to some sportbook to minimize the risks.

I get withdrawals from moneybookers within 2 days even I live in a third world country like Bosnia. If you belong to their VIP customers you get their phone number where they are always available and also an email address where they reply within an hour. at least my experiences are like that...

i totally agree. also, anytime i've had a request that was out of the ordinary (for example, once i had a problem with a book demanding out of the blue mb to contact them personally on my behalf to confirm my identity, i've never had a request like that since) they are ready to do for you what they can. in comparison: neteller might have live-chat, but the people on this chat are anything but helpful. calling them is better i agree, but still, altough both are useful, i prefer moneybookers by far..

Being a VIP customer at Moneybookers i really cant fault them.

I have had a few emails saying my Moneybookers account has been suspended which was a result of a Phishing site. I rung Moneybookers and they said my account is fine and to forward the email to them. 1 hour later i got a email back saying its a phishing website trying to steal my account details from me. Scary thing is the web address and detail on this site was exactly the same as the real Moneybookers web address.

My advice is never click on a link from a email claiming to be from Moneybookers. Check it out with Moneybookers first.

Have you contacted Webmoney? Are they doing anything to fix the fraud?

Santo, allow me to assist.....

To all whom come across this thread, please note that Tommy30's thread was initiated 2 years hence, which was also the last time that Tommy30 posted. In the highly likely event that Tommy30 has moved on, it is highly unlikely that he will respond.....

Please note that by moved on, I am not implying and in fact am hoping that Tommy30 has not met with his unfortunate demise.....

You should never click on any lick in any email, full stop. It's easy to apparently display one address (eg moneybookers), and actually send you to another.

I agree with you there, but i was talking about Moneybookers being though the topic was about Moneybookers.

Also the address when your on the log in page was exactly the same as the address in the address bar when i clicked the link. There is nothing between the 2 sites apart from one is a fake to steal your details and the other one was genuine.

exactly, you must never enter any link received even if it looks like for example moneybookers web. Some hacker make a web very similar to the oryginal one but if you check the the address (copy and paste) to your browser you will see that another stuff will apperar not moneybookers. this is one of the good tips i prefere
