Default Sportingbet (sportsbook.com) not paying US customers

Just tried to login to a sportsbook.com account I have had for a long time. Have kept a small balance here for line shopping purposes and now wanted to withdraw it because with the upcoming legal issues I am consolodating at Pinnacle.

When trying to login, I get account has been disabled, please call their 800 number. I have just live chat with CS and they said wagering online is not available in my location. When I asked for all available funds to be sent to my Neteller account, they tell me they are not processing any withdrawls for deactivated accounts and they will email me when they have a solution.

Obviously this is unacceptable! Anyone else have problems getting their balance from Sportingbet PLC??

Sportingbet is paying out - I know several who received payouts this week in their usual "prompt" fashion. Yours is an isolated case. Your account was disabled presumably for inactivity or multiple accounts under the same name. You will get paid, it just takes longer when this happens. The money at Sportingbet and World Gaming is 100% good - their situation is nothing like BoS.

That is not why it was disabled. I just confirmed with 3 other people that their accouts at sportsbook.com have been disabled as of today and they have no access to their money!

I am able to log in fine and access my accounts at SportingbetUSA and Superbook, my two Sportingbet books.

I was able to log in to my accounts at both Sportsbook and Hollywood. I don't have any money at either.. I do live in the US...

Just finished another Live Chat with CS and they said it was because wagering online is not allowed in Illinois anymore. They did NOT specify the entire US.

I just tried logging in, and my account is frozen with a message that they're going to void my pending future bets and refund me the money.

I am hearing they are cancelling pending bets for affected account, even bets made today. Not good. And if you have a future same thing.

Cheack out this email I just got from SUPERBOOK.......

    Dear Super Customer,

With the recent passing of the law effecting financial institutions' transactions with online gaming companies, Superbook.com's parent company, Sportingbet PLC, has decided to stop taking wagers from customers in the US effective immediately.

Does this mean you can't bet on sports or play blackjack online anymore at Superbook.com? Of course it doesn’t.

Superbook.com is open for business as usual.

Sportingbet PLC has sold Superbook.com to the existing management team and a group of investors who are continuing to run Superbook.com just as always.

So, your transactions remain super secure, your details extremely confidential, and your account safer than ever.

We’ll continue to be the easiest place to bet in the web ... and continue to try to make it easier for you to bet each week. We’ll start this weekend, by giving you a 10% Bonus on all deposits.

If you have any questions about this change, please email support@superbook.com or call us on 1-800-996-5833.

Welcome to new and easier Superbook.com

If you have a canceled future bet with equity, post it here and send us your account ID. This likely will not be addressed until next week.

Just got this email - balance of my account is in Sports.com as they said :

    Hello there,

In order to facilitate players from outside of the US, such as yourself, we've moved your account from SportingbetUSA.com to our internationally-focused partner site, Sports.com.

We've set it up so you can use your existing username and password and have already transferred your funds; log in now to see your account (accounts will be activated by midnight tonight). If you had any pending withdrawals prior to this change, you’ll find the funds back in your new Sports.com account. Simply login and request your payout.

At Sports.com, you'll enjoy the same better-than-Vegas odds, excellent customer service and great bonuses and promotions as you did at SportingbetUSA.com.
