Default Should VIP SbrRating Go down to like a C?

Don't get us wrong, we enjoy betting at vip but since the vip corporate is no longer "the responsible" party shouldn't this alone be enough for a downgrade? Lets not think with a double sword

Everybody, books and bettors alike, is trying to find their place in the new 'universe'. Some are going to roll over without a fight, others may wake up each day with the Prick's favorite gesture. Not the best time to judge. Until the smoke clears, cut everyone some slack (assuming your money isn't tied up in bad books).

Forget the current issues. VIP should not be A+ anyway. Add the uncertainty surrounding VIP and even C is a bit high. Of course it should be downgraded.
Mansion at B is also a joke. It is now a month since my query with them, I am yet to have response. There response to the problems surrounding "missing bets" was poor . Basically they seem to be saying that when we say we have accepted a bet we really mean we might have accepted the bet.
SBR is by far the best advocate site on the web, I wouldnt wish to be misunderstood on this. But its response, or lack of it to the VIP and Mansion issues are denting its credibility.

Too early to change ratings due to new laws coming into play, lets wait and see what develops.

Mansion not an A book

VIP has announced that there will be a fundamental change in its operating structure, without giving details. Anyone who rates this book is only guessing.

Mansion is B , it hovers just at the level where SBR will accept advertising revenue. Even SBR has admitted it is close to downgrade. Despite this CS has not improved and software problems not rectified.

Exactly, so the players should be aware they COULD be a risky book. On this fundamental alone they should be downgraded to C

Players who need to know more than a rating can tell should withdraw their funds during a situation like this. I probably would have.

Unfortunately some information is privileged and can't be shared. When it is, the sources would be protected. Maintaining these lines of communication is what allows us to tell you even if sometime it's without without telling you. VIP has been part of public L&G for a little more than a year and was A+ for years before that.

Mansion's B is disappointing. The only thing that was keeping them off the A list was the test of time and ability to settle into a a consistent model. They are teetering on the B- and need to take responsibility for their recent communication melt down. The forum banner doesn't weigh in. We've refunded in the past.

I think they are likely still very safe, but why can't they make a statement outlining their plan, instead of several different stories hitting the wires? The uncertainty will create panic and they will lose business.

I am more concerned with the deleting bets scandal

http://forum.sbrforum.com/showthread...hlight=mansion

I cant believe they are allowed to get away with saying well yes we accepted the bet but then changed our mind.

Didn't Mansion give out like 1 million dollars and not one slow pay report was mentioned? I think this book deserves to be A

I have never heard of one book not even the top dogs ever actually give back to there players like Mansion did on this.

Two Thumbs Up Mansion

They have refused to pay out on bets AFTER accepting them. Please read the link I quote.
Also you will find slow pay compliants on this board, although I accept it is probably due to incompetence rather than inability to pay.
