Default Detroit Red Wings...Let's hear some chatter...

I do not see them losing tonight. They know who they are playing next and will come out on a mission.

Not liking the line so may play a small amount on the PL.

Opinions?

Tough battle, to be honest. If Nikolai is out again, Wings light the lamp for 5 at least. Tough to call right now without knowing whom is in and out for both sides.

Enjoy the game Deuce. I had front row tickets to a Devils final and it was awesome.

Update from Joe Louis Arena: Neither Nicklas Lidstrom nor Pavel Datsyuk were on the ice this morning and Mike Babcock said they're not playing tonight in Game 5 against Chicago.
Lidstrom is out with an undisclosed injury; he missed the first playoff game of his 16-season NHL career Sunday.

Datsyuk has not played since Game 2 of this series after blocking a shot.

"They're both getting better," Babcock said. "I'd like to think they'll play the next time we play, but I thought that today."

If the Wings win tonight, they'll meet the Penguins for a second straight year in the Stanley Cup final - and I'd like Detroit's chances a whole lot better if they get back both Lidstrom and Datsyuk for that, but especially Lidstrom.

I never could understand why anyone would want to sit so close to the ice. Front row seats on the sides are the worse seats in the house. YOU can't see any plays break out.

11 rows up are good seats though.

I don't think many guys realize how much hockey info we get here in Canada, especially Toronto.

Leafs lunch at noon, Bill Watters in the afternoon, Hockey Central etc etc, these shows are everyday whether its July or January.

Canada IS hockey.

Who cares what kind of fan I am; I enjoyed the seats so that's that. Are you the SBR hockey police?

Also had 15th row seats to the SuperBowl; guess that sucked as well since they probably don't meet your high standard seat expectations.

When was the last time a Canadian team won the cup

Its been a while, when was the last time an American cared about hockey?

And don't use Deuce or other Americans that live close to the border, they aren't 100% American, they have been tainted by Canadian culture, the CBC etc.

Deuce could almost be Canadian.

Nice seats buddy!!!

Too bad the non-Canadian commish had to go ahead and put those mesh nets directly behind and to the sides of the goalie. He started a nasty trend that unfortunately found it's way into Canada.

Because to many Nancy's went to games and watch the nit wits next to them instead of the action.

I watch CBC regularly, I enjoy their programming more so than VS. I enjoy the down to Earth broadcast with veteran announcers, not some screaming nit wit that knows nothing but the name Sydney Crosby. CBC needs HD here in Detroit and they will be all set.
