The NHL is a joke............
Gary Bettman should be fired.. Why the hell isn't there an NHL game tonight? it's a very quiet evening in baseball..it's freakin memorial day.. it's a US holiday... why not schedule a game on a US holiday?
this guy is a joke and so is the NHL.. there should be a game tonight.. no need to have no game today.
i need my hockey fix tonight and i am in the mood for some good hockey.. and guess what.. no freakin game on..

Habs were this year. I fail to see a problem otherwise, maybe a little to soft on the calls.

I thought the game was tonight that is why I bet it, fuk!!!
Nicky the hockey playoffs are a joke also because almost every game has no defense. Real hockey playoffs are tight low scoring games.

jj, this is a joke.. nascar is not on tonight.. a few lousy baseball games.. pirates, nats, etc.. no big games there.. 1 late NBA game.. it's a big holiday. this is the best time to showcase the game in the U.S..
and what does bettman do?... schedule no game today when it is the best possible day to have one.. they would have had tons of U.S. viewers.. which is what NHL is looking for.
what a joke. i am pissed. i really was looking forward to it.. there was no better day than today for a game.

the playoff schedule has made no sense.
They make Penguins and Capitals play Games 5 and 6 in different cities on back to back days, yet this is now the second time there's been a two day gap between games in a series. Why?
Each series should have a game every other night. Penguins-Capitals should be on tonight, then Red Wings-Blackhawks tomorrow night.

that's why the NHL is a joke.. when there are sweeps, we sometimes have to wait close to 2 weeks before the next series, unlike the NBA where it starts 2 days after..
tonight is a joke.. nothing going on tonight,.. no baseball, nothing.......... a U.S. holiday to boot, and NO GAME.. and they usually play today cause they always skip 1 day, and today is the 1 day..
that sucks.. i was really in the mood tonight to watch hockey.

At least from semis to final won't be as long a wait as Champions League soccer. Final is tomorrow, semis were three weeks ago.

we may have an 8 day wait for the finals to begin if detroit and pitt wrap this up, bettman and nbc have really screwed this whole playoff up.
8 days!!!!!!!!
nbc is the worst tv deal any sport has ever made.
its sad, but the nhl is really no more than a low level sport like mls soccer in the us.
