Thanks for the two links to your site, raiders, just in case we missed the first one. Ironic that a website entitled "Tout Free Zone" has to resort to touting itself on other forums.
But I digress. On of the most iconic images in football is Vinnie Jones, who later turned film star, "getting to grips" with Paul Gascoigne.

AK, you are so brutal...we are talking about one of the greatest plays in NFL history...Montana throws a perfect pass to the back of the endzone to a white guy with no hops that finds a way to get two feet down...to beat the reigning champs of the 70's and early 80's in the NFC...overrated, yeah right...

What's really Ironic is Raiders owns a Taco Shop tacoman.
I'm assuming you will not be stopping in for a bite to eat?!![]()

Seeing "The Catch" still hurts a little.
I do remember watching the great Secretariat win by 30 lengths and never felt the whip. The horse won by 30 lengths without ever getting out of 1st gear...amazing

I was actually at the game where Gazza's jewels were "tickled". Remember it as a boring 0-0 draw and it wasn't until I got the papers the next mroning that I realised all that had been going on. We played Wimbledon the next week in the FA Cup (lost 1-3) and Gazza was quiet in both games.
Vinnie Jones was always just a thug.
PS. You'll notice the second one is a tabloid "enhancement" ... as if the photo wasnt good enough on its own!!

was there any crowd reaction to this or did it go unnoticed at the time?I was actually at the game where Gazza's jewels were "tickled".

Totally unnoticed ... obviously by the referree even.Originally Posted by raiders72001

As a follow up, I read in the next game Vinnie Jones (the grabber) sent some roses to Gazza before the game.

It's funny how you can remember most of these photos. The only one I don't remember seeing before is Kornakova but that one's in the memory banks now.

I forgot what football game I was watching a few weeks back. But they one announcer said the team was out of timeouts, and the other said, "Unless they have Chris Webber on the team."
I was taking a drink of my beer at that moment, and almost spit it all over the tv. Shit was funny.![]()
