Is this some sort of a pun?

If you need money then don't play roulette.

Ask Roberto... he saw me clean up at the Golden Nugget with this system. Play all the 20's and play the 4, 10 and 11. Once you get up $5k then quit.

John's strategy certainly does have the highest possible rate of return in American roulette: -5.263%. You can't expect do any better than that. (In fact the only way to do worse than that is to bet the 0/00/1/2/3 combo. The expected return on that bet is -7.895%.)

I'm sure that the casinos like nothing better than having people coming in and playing their roulette "system".

Did you use a money management strategy like a progression or regression or was it the same amount on all numbers all the time ?

Hey if you have unlimited money to bet then bet how much you want to win on red or black, double your previous bet until it hits if you lose.

From the casino's persepective the good thing about a roulette "system" isn't that it expects to take the money of a system player any quicker than that of a non-system player, I would think it's that a system player is more likely to blame his own losses on bad luck (or credit his wins to the system) and so keep returning for more punishment.

    Poor schlubs.

Indeed. Unless you're able to manipulate a casino game in your favour then you're always going to be a long term lose.

You can count cards on a single deck blackjack game, you can scientifically identify a biased wheel on roulette. But if you think you have a "winning system" based on nothing more than picking random number on a roulette wheel then you're destined for losing.

No kidding. If AK were a true pro as he claims, he would know that there is simply no way to beat an unbeatable game (unless cheating).

AK- Only way to go is the prime number 1/2 martingale system. Play the all the prime numbers. If one doesn't hit then play them again for 1.5 units.

    Can prove that mathmatically?

What do you guys think about craps? I like the odds, cover 4-11 roll it and pull it. Just b/c you can roll seven more ways than the others makes it more appealing for me to play craps than roulette. Now if you are really looking for a win with a huge risk cover all the numbers but just enough to win (Don't forget about the gooses 0/00. Now thats russian roulette

About the Martingale I didnt know about it until the forums, but my first time to a casino I tried it. Needless to say I ran out of chips and my wife wasnt thrilled with my theory, but it will work

If you can provide a mathematically proven sytem of beating the casinos on craps in the long term then I'll pay you for it.

Odds are almost 1/2 that you will hit Black or Red given the gooses. It has to eventually hit your bet, just takes time and money

The key word in that statement is "almost 1/2". If you're playing at a roulette wheel then, barring any mechanical advantages you may identify, you're always going to be a long term loser.

But if you still disagree, then feel free to prove it mathematically.

Every game is a chance, you either take an educated chance or a chance,
Roulette you bet on one spin, craps a bet could last forever. Which chance do you like better. Even better than that is you can pull your bet after each roll if it still stands and certain circumstances.

Grab a coin call one side( head or tails ) the entire time and keep flipping until it hits your call. Tell me how many times it takes or if it never happens.

In craps play the field bet. Look at all the extra numbers that you get.

I won $,$$$ playing at betCris not field but by covering and then pulling. The software doesnt let you pull though you have to counter your bet. Figure the difference.
