Default BETJAMAICA CC Rules + Bullshit

Made quite a large deposit via CC. I received No Bonus. I bet my balance all on one game. I won, Now they tell me I have to wait 30 business days in order to make a withdrawal. Is this Bull shit or normal procedure?

Normal

From BJ Site

Deposit directly into your BetJamaica account using a CC. All deposits made via **** must be credited back to the card for the amount originally processed. You may request additional funds after the CC requirement has been satisfied. Depending on the bank, refunds will show up in your account within three to seven business days. Accounts funded using a CC must wait 30 business days before a withdrawal can be processed. Currently there are no fees to make a CC withdrawal.

Safety measure I guess, tough break Chano

Do not bet and wait the 30 days so you do not lose your balance..

I wont bet, I have $4500 in there and as far as I am concerned this is a complete scam. I realize its clearly stated in their rules. I just did not bother reading them as I thought their rule regarding this was 5-7 business days , like most top books out there. But I will wait 30 business days. Which I think is the biggest scam out there. Screw BJAM.

Why is it a scam ?

What would stop you from withdrawing your deposit and winnings and charging back what you deposited.

People do chargebacks or report their card stolen after they get wiped out off-shore. They have to do it to protect themselves.

Not all books have that rule but you need to read the policies before making deposits at any books

I am aware that this is totally my fault, but being part of the Olympic Sports (greek) group I did not think that they are in the whore business. 30 business days is not a legal matter within the book and their processors. Its completely a scam to have the player wager more, cause he has to keep his money there for 6 weeks. Please anyone point out another book with the same rule and I will leave this alone and wait the 44 days I have left.

the rules you posted make it impossible. they first credit deposit back to the CC and the purchase is cancelled. i do not see how a chargeback can be done in this situation. the winnings are paid out neteller

Whenever you use a CC at a sportsbook you should expect restrictions and if you are adverse to restrictions you should read the terms of service as there will always be restrictions with ************. Chargeback rates are just too high not to have them.

I understand all that, but 30 business days? I have contacted most "A" books and asked their policy regarding this and nobody has a restriction this outrages. Not even close.

Ok, now you know, chano. Dont use your CC DIRECTLY to fund betJam again.

Just make believe you lost the bet, 40 days from now you will feel like you just put on a pair of old jean and found 4.5K wadded up in the front pocket you never knew you had.

The best way to do this is with a third party site such as Neteller. You deposit to Neteller with your CC send the money to the book after you win have the money sent back to Neteller.

You might want to also make sure that the amount you sent them with your CC isnt sent back to your card as a credit at the end of the waiting period.

Update on my situation:

I contacted CS at Betjam. I told them that I have an account at thegreek for many years that I have funded using the same CC. This will assure them of any wrong intentions. She (cust serv) told me that it shouldnt be a problem and that the 30 days may be waived. I later received this email:

"Thanks for your patience. I checked with our accounting department and we can't not waive the 30 business clearing period. If you would like I can temporarily put the funds on hold until it clears. Please advise."

So if they can't not waive it, I guess that means they can waive it?

BetJamaica has done a temporary withdrawal. What they have done is placed my funds somehere, until Nov 16th. That is the date that apparently the funds will clear. I have used my cc at many books. I never been serviced as good as this. Welcome to BetJamaica.

This situation is complete bull shit, I won my wager and continued to play over the week end. I made over 18k in wagers on a 2k deposit (no bonus). I can almost understand if they want to hold my deposit for whatever clearing it needs to do. But my winnings? Thats a complete scam, as far as I am concerned.

Sportsbook Review Overall Rating : A

Complete bull shit!!

I have been a playing at the greek since 2003 and have deposited many, many amounts using the same CC. This is bad service. BEWARE!
