If you studied history, you'd know that's unlikely.
It's much more probably that the Tea Party will join the ranks of the Know-nothings, Birchers, and McCarthyists in infamy. Of course, in the conservative alternate universe, those clowns are the heroes.
50 years from now, there will probably still be right wing cranks like you guys. They'll probably look at our universal healthcare, high speed rail, green energy, and electric cars, and might cite Obama as the turning point for when we've gone to "hell in a handbasket."
Of course, this will have no basis in reality, other than the world passing you by and progressing despite your best efforts.

I will look at Obama voters as part of the "American Idol" era. If they sound good, and look good, they have to be good, no matter what their qualifications are.
