Yep, looked it up, dempsters new born girl had a condition where she couldn't swallow. Could be more problems for her. So yeah, continue insulting him for missing a start, but if it's about his daughter you are probably punching your first class ticket to hell.

2 bad starts doesn't ruin a great season. It wasn't a good move for him but I doubt he's getting skipped. Could be a family thing.

I actually was upset about dempster turning down the deal to the braves but with a sick kid, you gotta put them first and he was probably comfortable with the care she was getting in Chicago. We will see how he is going forward. Stand up guy, always though.
