Default The Biggest Scam I've Ever Seen !!!

I received this E-Mail From DimeLine Sports.

Dimeline Sportsbook has a very special offer for email members only. This offer will allow email members to get a sweet 100% bonus in the Poker Room, Casino and Sportsbook.

This offer is valid for both new and existing clients of Dimeline. Max bonus amount for Casino and Sportsbook are $1000. Max bonus amount for Poker is $200.

If you want to take advantage of this offer simply reply to this email and we will give you the promo code. This is a private promotion and will not be listed on the website. Only email members who reply will get this promo code.

Dimeline members also receive the following benefits.

    1. Club cash points, which you can use to redeem extra bonus money.

When I called to inquire this is how it works.

When you start an account with them you have real money and your bonus money is put in a play money account. As you bet with the real money your play money is released to your real money account at a 1/39 ratio. So let's keep the numbers small and assume you make a $300 deposit to this book and you get $300 added into your play money account. In order to get your bonus entirely released you would need $11,700 in action. Talk about misleading this is about as bad as I have ever seen. Even the customer service guy after I explained it to him agreed this is a very bad deal. The D rating SBR has on these guys needs to be looked at.

Its another rip off book I like the deal Pags was referring to with Legendz. I'm all over that offer.

The T&Cs don't consitute a "scam" - they're more worded towards the T&Cs from casinos rather than sportsbooks. However, the wording screams out Futurebet - fine if you never withdraw but not recommended if you're a winner.

Taco i guess scam might be harsh how about misleading. Either way I love getting bonus money. Not as much as AK did but I've learned to research prior to acting and this is definately not a "SOLID" deal.

Good advice Owned Trash the offer as usual if i smell or see a rat I try to spread the word.

I'll take my 200 from the Prick This week plus the Legendz offer and I'll be as happy as a Fat Girl in a Cake Shop.

This is a Futurebet book, right? Why would anyone want to play at a Futurebet site? Especially now?

Maybe not a scam offer, but I think the best play is to stay away.

I'm guessing this from the wording of the T&Cs but I'd be surprised if I'm wrong - I've never seen another company describe bonus T&Cs like this.

This thread should be edited. How in the world can this offer be a scam? It's not like they are hiding the T&C.

A note for you Aces: Just because you can't get a 100% bonus and scalp your way out on one bet, doesn't make an offer a scam.

When it's a company who is offering a 100% bonus to $1000 and has a long history of ultra-slow payouts. But since you've never been slow-paid by Futurebet then I'm guessing that all these claims of slow-paying by Futurebet are liars, right?

This thread is for information and discussion purposes only. I'm not sending this book any of my money. If it was a true 100% bonus I would consider it but I would tread very light knowing the history of Future Bet. I'll throw a few bills at a start up if the bonus is good but i know going in my funds are at risk. Its up to the book to win me over and if I get burned Its my greed that caused it. But when a book with a history sends me an E-Mail offering a 100% bonus with no mention of a 39/1 ratio it is a 100% Scam. I have accounts with the big boys but I will give the new guys a shot if it benefits me. With most books I dont even take the 20% 15% etc but with a start up you better make it good if you want me to try you.

I gotta side with Aces on this one. This bonus offer is way outside the lines of what is remotely standard. If this book wants to be taken seriously, they need to fix this ASAP. Why offer a bonus at all if this is what they are trying to pull?

As for nitpicking on the word "Scam", here's Webster's definition: "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation". I agree with Aces on his use of the word "scam" as well. As I stated above, this book is way outside the norm regarding sportsbook bonus terms. Them advertising their bonus in itself is deceptive. Then again, this is why they are a D book.

Several years ago, I lost $20k+ when a Futurebet book went down, so once again you are wrong.

20K??? Tough Beat Slash. The irony here should be that you defend the name brand after that loss. If you cant agree that the E-Mail above is misleading you deserve to play with these guys. I dont care what you do with your bankroll I'm simply sounding the alarm bell that this book has incorporated deceptive marketing techniques.

    Slacker Pags and John Thanks.

Yeah, it was a tough beat back then, but I was bailed out in full with a match deposit and a high rollover. That bailout was the worst I've ever experienced though, as my balance got so awfully high (I was scalping of course). It gave me more sleepless nights than even the loss of a girl has ever given me.

Still, I don't consider this offer to be a scam. It is clearly stated in the T&C how the bonus works. Every book on the planet should learn from Futurebet how to handle bonuses.

That Futurebet itself is a scam is another issue.
