Venture, I couldn't agree more. Phil Steele's magazine is a must have! I to refer to it as my college football bible, mostly because of the way it's written, with very small print. Not much for readability, so if you're looking to just read something cover to cover and get insight, this isn't the magazine for you. However, if you're looking for an information packed reference tool, this magazine is the only way to go.

yeah I like the magazine route as well...

Marc Lawrence Playbook has lots of that type info.

Can't go wrong with it IMO.

Yea its hard to read cover to cover but when your capping a team and there opponent there is nothing else out there with so much info at your fingertips. Also has past 10 years of every teams record ATS broke down into 9 different categories(home ATS,away ATS, home fav ats, ect). Haven't looked at a athlon in years but last time I did there was no ATS information. Phil makes his magazine more for the gambler/hard core fan than the causal fan

i just google it. Like "Returning starters Tennessee 2012" for example. Click on the link that says "nationalchamps" something or other.

    It has everything you need.

So is it a book or magazine? Is it just one magazine you buy that has all the info for the entire season or is their a new magazine that comes out every month that you have to pay $8 for or what?

Ok, I went onto the website, looks like it's $27.50 including S&H for both (https://www.philsteele.com/store/)....hmm, I'll have to think about it, looks like several people in this thread swear by it....I'll have to read up more on this tomorrow before I hit the buy button.

(EDIT) Found both mags on e-bay for $17.50 shipped and went ahead and purchased, thanks guys for giving me the heads up.
