never have heard of the firstpay method of payment until now...gonna check them out a little bit...

Good News! I was under the impression (wrongly) you needed to fund your First-Pay wallet 1st before sending new $$ on to wsex/matchbook. You do not. Just use the First-Pay option on the 'cashier' page at wsex/matchbook and if there isn't enough $$ in your First-Pay acct they will debit your bank or DC, whichever one you used to open your First-Pay acct.

it took abot 3 weeks before i got my card

Guys, it took 9-10 biz days for me to get their DC.

btw-- to w/d from first-pay DC you must 1st send $$ from WSEX/Matchbook to your online 'wallet' then on from there to the card. Sorta like Neteller.

The Issuing Bank of the **** DC & the online first-pay 'wallet' are NOT in the USA. The Books are not in the USA.

For me the only real USA transaction will be using an ATM. I can use any ATM. Having said all of that I still cannot answer your question but it appears to have enought buffers

This type of options is going to become increasingly important. WSEX always seems to be on top of these.

Only caution is that the IRS often pressures **** and ********** to provide information about US citizens with cards issued to them outside the US. Shouldn't be an issue for most, but just something to keep in mind.

I think books already are thinking of ways of getting money back and forth and will have back up methods also if one option goes down.

I just got an account at first pay and signed up for the card and am still a little confused on how this works. I can deposit money from my bank account using a DC to put money onto my wallet card or do I have deposit money to the online account first then to my wallet card? Every time I try to deposit money using my DC it is denied. I do not have the wallet card but I have applied for it so hopefully it comes in the mail soon. So if anyone could further explain how this process works it will be muchly appreciated. I thought I knew how it worked at first but everything else I have tried hasnt worked so far.

If you have already made a deposit into First-Pay, I take it you have since the card is on the way, then use the 'cashier' from wsex/matchbook websites. They have a First-Pay option. See my post #8 above.

When I tried to deposit with first pay on wsex.com I didnt have enough money so I tried to depsoit more with my DC on the wsex.com website and I got this error (710-CARD NUMBER DECLINED AT DEC-DAT LEVEL). So I asked first pay and they said to call the number on the back of my DC which is my bank and ask them if there is security levels I need to change take to make this transaction. Does anyone know what this error means or if I can get into any trouble by calling and trying to find out? I dont know of any kinds of security levels I signed up for with this DC so just checkin if any one else has gone through this before.
