Im also sure roger federer and tiger woods have something to say about it. Didnt federer win all 4 majors in 1 year before?

No, RogFed didn't win all four grand slam events in one year. Rod Laver actually did it twice. Did it in 1962 as an amateur , then went pro and couldn't play in the grand slams per the rules back then, then after they changed the rules Laver came back and won the grand slam again in 1969 at age 31. Only tennis player to ever have won the grand slam twice. Only male to have ever done it in singles play except Don Budge in 1938 back in the day when the winner of the previous year's tourney was automatically placed in the finals the next year.

Laver's accomplishment was pretty impressive, as was the Tiger Slam (four majors in a row although not in a calendar year).

I'd still have to go with 1992 Jordan if I had to choose one.

Tony Romo slept with Carrie Underwood, Sophia Bush and Jessica Simpson (before she was fat) all in one year. I am sure Dad will rate that above Lebrons achievements.

considering that lebron played this past season over two different calendar years, we can use the tiger slam to say that tiger had a better year stretch

until yesterday the last 16 majors were won by different guys....tiger won 4 in a row

    unreal

and to peagodgidy's point tiger fukked anything with a pulse that year

because of all the doubters and haters i would say 2012 by lebron (so far) is shaping up to be the best year ever by an athlete.

but there's still a long way to go, he could get injured, arrested, who knows

only individual sports should considered, imo...too many variables in team sports ... both tiger and fed have had many better seasons

Roger Federer had 4-5 loss seasons with 3 Slam wins if i remember correctly. Novak last year was sick too.

But gotta give LeBron props, especially given all the money he made me during the finals

Anthony Davis didnt have a bad year either. National Championship, player of the year, number one pick, Olympic Gold, and brought the unibrow back

You serious? I don't see how it is pressure when you have 3 top 15 NBA players team up in FA and then guys like Battier come in to hit the big shots. Pressure? Lebron doesn't take late shots, he had no pressure.

As much as i argue with my brother about LBJ, when he got got drafted by Cle they won like 60 games or so...i LIke KD but he can cant defend so Lebron is def the best player in the NBA atm...
