Possibly the best catch ever in baseball. He not only robbed a home-run but timed his climb off the wall perfectly. The guy is like 5'9 and climbed a 9 foot wall. That was sick.

Trout was on the run and leaped over the wall.

Davis had time to prepare for his catch, and used the wall as a springboard.

At any rate, they were both phenomenal catches.

Gary Matthews Jr had a great one too, I believe in 2006, as part of the Texas Rangers. If anyone wants to link that one.

Trout was on a dead run and jumped over about a 7 foot wall, this wall was much higher and Raja Davis is a smurf. He had to jump up the wall that was so amazing.

5 foot 9 davis climbed up a ten foot wall. It'd be hard enough getting ur footing and getting up over 10 feet in the air and to time it perfectly because he was waiting there it is amazing.

IMO, it is harder to sit there under it and time up the jump then a dead full on sprint leap for ball

Looked like a routine off the wall catch to me. Isn't to reach ten feet when using the wall to climb higher. Especially with spikes on cloth. Nice play though.

Rajai definitely the best catch ever, Mays was a great play too though bigger game and also a great throw that was a huge ballpark if Mays did not recover to make the throw the runner on 2nd would of been able to tag and score.

Very hard to come to a consensus on GOAT. Too many variables like player size, speed they were going, whether or not it was a HR ball, and meaningfulness of the game itself.

Check that 10 feet high....I was listening to the game on the radio and they said it was 10 feet high numerous times. It is that high because of turf and they wanted to limit Ground rule doubles.

Announcers were over the moon saying it was the second best catch ever at the rodgers centre, apparently Ken griffey made a similar catch. Thanks for posting it up didn't seem that special.
