Default Forums Will Be Blocked Also By ISP's

Only forums that will be running in the USA are no links to gambling sites, if you have a forum I would start to take off all affiliate and advertising links to any gambling site.

I agree with isetcap. No offense, jj, but you're going overboard with your panic. Calm the **** down.

Since they went after Sporting News and got a settlement, anything is possible. But it doesn't seem to be a focus for them at the moment. Tough to go after content and forum providers with free speech considerations.

Man, the last few days you can see how easily some succumb to mass panic and hysteria...Somebody assumes they are an expert in the field, prepares for the worst and goes off the deep end. Man, take a deep breath, wait for the facts to unfold and then deal with the situation in a calculated fashion.....Or, go ahead and gather up some canned goods and run screaming for a bomb shelter in the desert.

I dont see this happening. For sure it won't happen unless the current law is amended or a new one passed. This law doesnnt have any language that would suggest these sites are illegal and certainly no mention of blocking them.

Now the 1961 Wire Act does have some aiding and abetting language which as Lakerfan mentioned, the US has flexed that muscle before.

They will be blocking bank transactions, and then start focusing on web portals via raids IMO

I would truely hate to be the first site they target if there not "fed proof" because thre gonna most likely make an example of them.

I missesd that story about Sporting News. I've wondered why they keep running all those PSA talking about how online betting is illegal. Know I know...
