    Default Neteller: Slooooow EFT payment

Anybody else having too wait an inordinate amount of time for an EFT from Neteller? I'm coming up on my 6th business day, and it still hasn't reached my bank account. This is a process that in the past took 2 business days usually, and a 3rd on rare occasions. Anyway, anyone out there experiencing a similar delay?

I'm waiting for mine as well but tomorrow will be the 3rd day which is usually how long it takes. I'll let you know if it's late.

Thanks ghost.....I'll do likewise an update tomorrow, hopefully not under the addendum of "still waiting".

Are both of you guys in their VIP status? (which I've always got the impression was nothing but a label)

I am officially a VIP member, Owned, which makes me proud when I gaze into the mirror...Gave me an additional email address to use, I believe, but other than that, not sure what the "perks" are.

I see no perks either, but for as long as I can remember, my cashouts back to my bank take no more than 2 business days and usually is in my bank the very next day. Keep us updated, 6 days has me perplexed

Me too.....It was last Wednesday, early morning when I put in my request. Past experience had led me to believe, very comfortably, that I would see the funds in my bank account on Thursday evening. I have recieved an email from Neteller that the funds should be in my possession by tomorrow, 6 business days later. I cetainly hope this turns out to be the case.

Just got an email from Neteller, informing me that there is a processing delay of 5 business days on my EFT. Not sure if this only applies to those who withdrew during the time frame that I did, but otherwise it looks like anybody who has a pending EFT might have to wait a while.

Hmmm.....Informative, though a tad concerning. Thanks guys...Good to know there are no problems, at least for people not known as Stumpage. Appreciated.

I put in for an EFT withdrawal Monday evening. It hit my bank this afternoon. That’s at least as fast as usual in my experience.

Appreciate this thread though. I’m really undecided what impact this new law is going to have. I lean more toward the “This is a lot of hot air and means nothing” side than the “This is the end of the world” side, but some of that may be wishful thinking as I really just plain don’t know. Right now I’m proceeding with business as usual, but I’m going to be monitoring very closely anything people report about transactions taking longer than usual, accounts being closed, changes in policies, communications they’ve received from books or Neteller, etc. Let’s gather all the evidence we can and then panic if and only it’s warranted.

    Default Last Wednesday

I too initiated an EFT transfer last Wednesday. What I was told this evening is that all transfers that were initiated last Wednesday were subject to a 5 day delay and the funds should be available tomorrow. So I wouldn't panic yet stumpage, keep us informed and I will do so also.

Well, for anybody who finds themselves in a similar lengthy payout delay, Neteller has informed me that because of a processing problem, all EFT withdrawals from last Tuesday and Wednesday are being delayed. The delay was 5 business days, which have come and gone, and now it will probably not be until next Tuesday that the funds hit my account. Probably....Anyway, for those in the same boat, that's the story. Troubling thing I note is that the status of the transaction is listed as "accepted" in my account, rather than "pending", yet the money remans in cyberspace limbo.

    Neteller is AWESOME!

One time I had exceeded some imaginary limits they decided to set on the amount of money I could transfer in a 30-day period. AFTER they pulled the money out of my bank account, they informed me the transaction could not be completed until I provided them with 3 forms of identification, and signed a release, and fielded a phone call from one of their reps where they asked me a bunch of credit check questions. This was only the third time I had to go through this entire process. About two weeks later the money was finally released even though it had been gone from my bank account the entire time.

Yeah, they're just like a bank.

I think its hard to find someone who isn't a vip. I think all it takes is transfering maybe $10,000. THe vip status is a joke. They treat you just as bad regardless. Neteller's problem is taht they are too damn cheap to hire staff, let alone competent staff. COlin was likely the only intelligent person they had there and he quit.

Here is my guess as to what happend. THey probably sent out a bunch of eft to the wrong place. THen they had to wait a week for the funds to come back. Rather than do the right thing, and send out your funds right away, while neteller waits for the original funds to come back to them, they say "screw the customer, we Neteller made a mistake, cusomter should suffer the consquences."

Neteller's cs is so bad, their fees are so high, it's shocking that no other payment processor has really tried to challenge Netelers dominance in the north american market

Sad thing is is that most of the other payment processors are just as bad if not worse. Don't even get me started on *******. I have been pretty fortunate with Neteller (knock on wood) and this has been the only issue I have had so far.
