Default Should I Move To Vegas?

Since we will not be able to bet in around 4 months or so online, me and six other guys want to move to Vegas and rent a house and then we can bet legally with no issues.

Here is the deal, rent is $2000 per month and we divide that by 6 and it is pretty cheap. Some of us have to double up in a room but I have no problem with that.

Everything out in Vegas is cheaper too, might be the time to move on

Should I go?

That sounds like a great life, JJ. You keep aiming high and there's no limit to the level of self-actualization you could attain. It's hard for me to grasp the inherent wisdom in such an arrangement but I'm sure that the "double up" situation will work out well, as it has in the past for many cell mate pairings. Plus Vegas is such a beautiful and natural place with multiple mind-expanding pursuits available to those with an intense philosophical nature like yourself.

I don't know, but I'm from the midwest. Things are cheaper here than in Vegas.

I think he's trying to be supportive. I can't imagine living with 5 other guys. I hope they're great cappers or really good friends.

Compared to the NY/NJ/Connecticut area, LV is dirt cheap. It's so cheap you can't afford NOT to eat out. I just moved here from the East Coast and it was the smartest thing I've done.... Plus it doesn't take forever to get anywhere. At MOST it takes 20 minutes to get anywhere in the city. Rent is pretty reasonable here, also.

The only thing I will say, from line shopping downtown... The juice is rough - and the further you get away from downtown and into the "local" shops, it just gets higher (The juice can get ridiculous at some places... They don't always list it on their boards, either, that is, beyond -110. Taking a favorite sometimes is -140+, it's horsecrap).
The lines are pretty much the same as what you'd get online, though.... with a square 1/2 point to point here and there...
Although, I've probably covered only 1/2 the books so far... Still looking always, however.

Who cares about the juice, I just want to bet sports. I rather lay -120 on games than not bet at all.

Vegas might be the best place to live period in the usa for many reasons

Why move out to vegas coach. Surely you know enough locals out there in Newark to be ok.

JJ my crew and I are setting up shop in canada (near vancover so the games start earliers for us)

we'll have 15 guys in 1600 squarefeet. we've got triple decker bunks so it should be okay but i am afraid of heights. all men are required to take HIV tests before they get the greenLight to stay. it will be $75 a month.

why do i have this sick feeling JJ will wind up bald buried and dead in the dessert in vegas for stiffing the wrong group?

even the fukkin vultures won't want a piece of him and his melted rug

Vegas has all the gambling needs of a player any totally legal and you get paid cash right after the games.

Compactor I hear you got a mohawk on your fukkin head with an arrow, I will bunk on the second level of the beds and you can be below me.

It looks like we will not be able to bet online anymore so you boys better start having back up plans.

I'm just going to start betting with my local...wait, I'm not allowed to do that either. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep betting online then.

If you live in Manhattan and you're paying less than $2000 a month, then I wouldn't be advertising that information on a public forum. You could receive a visit from a hitman within a week.

Why not live in San Diego, and nip across the border to make your bets in an Internet cafe? And I think the hookers in Tijuana are even cheaper.
