I hit an $8000 trifecta once with a 70/1 shot on top. There was a huge photo finish that took like 10 minutes and I was sweating bullets.

On another bet I played a double super with a 'must win'. Hit the first half(you pick the 1st 4 finishers) and had 1 chance to hit the second. I picked my 1st 3 horses and could not decide on the 2nd. I hated the favorite but had to choose between him and an 80-1 shot that had finished 4th like 6+ times in a row. I threw in the favorite, he broke, and 80-1 shot came in 2nd, and the fave came in 5th arrghh. 3/4 took the last race so I got 4k out of it but I would have won over 100k if I had just gone against the fave I hated so much.

Nope it was about 4 years ago from northfield park near where I live. I loved the 70-1 shot but apparently I was the only one lol. I had him wheeled up and down in perfectas and the win also. It was my best week ever. I also hit a 7k pic3, another 7ktri, and some other nice stuff that same week. I wish gambling winnings were more spread out but once a year it seems I have one kickass week and then it goes back to here and there survival.

Those weeks are great but let's face it there is always more bad than good. When they come you pay off those ************, spoil your wife, and get ahead on as many bills as you can. Early in my betting career I woulda probably blown it the next night but now I have alot more discipline and any gambling money I win usually goes to my greatest love(besides family)- disneyworld lol. Yes, I am a disney fanatic and admit it. Right now I have about $100 in cc debt, a car payment of around $300, and my utilities are a month ahead. In 7 months I move to orlando where my parents live and of course where disney is ahem. I got back from disney 3 weeks ago and go on a short trip in another week now that I found the joy of southwest's ding fares. $29 each way from pittsburgh to orlando is almost unreal considering I lay 3 times that on a horse to win.
