Secondly, the people who live in trailer parks are probably in much more need of guns then rich white liberals who can afford to live in quaint gated communities in the suburbs... (as absurdly created stereotypes serve as the strongest base for arguments, right?)

I'm willing to bet if you threw the Ted Kennedys and Obamas of the world into a trailer park or inner city housing project without armed security or secret service escorts for a few weeks they might have little different outlook on the issue...

Guns don't kill people. But it makes it easier. In a fight without guns the most courageous wins. In a fight with guns there is always 50% chance the coward will win and this is why is wrong. Owning guns, which I own, doesn't make it any safer. I'd rather being allowed to own explosives instead of guns. That way if someone tries to invade my home or try to steal my car I can grab a couple pounds of C4 or TNT and blow them into pieces. No need to waste any bullets.
