Looking for info! It has 3 of my favorite words in its name.

I am looking to add a book for football, they have a 20% bonus.

I have talked to their cs dept., they are real nice but have not made a move, yet.

thanks in advance.

Ford Fiesta has two of my favorite words in it too but I ain't buyin' one. Other guy's right, go with a known book. Too many pretenders out there, 'specially this time of year.

Good Luck,

SBR rating for Rich Coast Sports: D+

They have been running free $50 account promos - then it was reduced to $25 - there were a bunch of conditions (15X rollover, $200 max payout). I don't know if it's still going on.

Some of the people I saw discussing it seemed very enthused about the deal and the website and the CS - but it also seemed like one or more of them could have been shills.

I wouldn't bother with them. jj is right; there are a bunch of more established shops where you can grab a 20% bonus at this time of year.

apart from WWTS/Cybersportsbook there is:

ABC Islands/Jazz
Wager Web/BetDon
Bowmans
Legendz/Dimeplayer
MVP/V-Wager
BetOnGames

That's off the top of my head. Some of them are having limited time offers and some of them vary between the sign-up and reload bonus so be aware of that if you follow up on any of them.

With many of the "well known books" I have already used my one time bonus.

I have a friend who plays at Rich Coast and he wants the referral.

Have they done anything wrong, he has been very happy playing there and has had no problems taking out several payouts.

I have time, still deciding on my last book for football.

Mudcat, why the rating have they done something bad or just a limited track record?

I hear you.

I'd have to let Dozer or John speak in more detail about your question but I suspect the limited track record is a big part of the low rating. (Rightly so that it works that way, I might add. Every upstart book can and does say they haven't done anything wrong yet. It's not really a strong position for them.)

Anyway it's a question of personal style. We all make our own risk/reward assessments. I'll have to see a much longer record of good behavior before I'll think about depositing there.

Their marketing is good because we have had a lot of information requests.

Bill has more info on them but I can tell you to be careful. Everyone of these aggressive marketers has been beaten into submission and out of business by the shot takers. This one reminds me of Oklahoma Sports betting which we warned about from day 1. They lost the fight after a 1/2 a year.

Funny. OSB has been crossing my mind repeatedly while these discussions of Rich Coast have been going on.

There was a time OSB was going around saying how they hadn't done anything bad - and it was true at the time. I'm glad I just stayed away.

Like a lot of the books that pop up this time of year, RCS is a very small new shop that claims to have experience booking "on credit". Their inexperience in the post up biz is evident in the way they market. Their staff will shill in forums pretending to be satisfied players. They do not fool anyone yet they keep at it.

The first time I heard of them was when I was looking at SBR's Player Review section and saw three different players had fallen in love with RCS on the same day. Upon closer inspection I realized that one of the reviews was from an SBR article and was also used on their homepage.

RCS uses about 10 employees, Mercedes software and an office in the Oficentro Plaza in CR.

Below is the email I had to write to their marketing dept...

We have deleted your review of RichCoastSports because you are a member of the company staff.

"Is a book that aims to keep betting fun. They see themselves as providing great entertainment. This can’t be accomplished if gamblers are struggling through the betting process. Clerks are well informed and available 24/7. They go the extra mile keeping a manager on at night. Rich Coast also offers the live chat feature at all hours. Phones are answered promptly by English speaking clerks who encourage you to call again.I like it."

When reading your review I recognized it from your site and thought it looked familiar. I searched the words in Google and realized that I had written it.

I took the free $50. I have to roll it over 10x. I think that the promo is over. If I don't go bust I'll let you know if they paid the $200.

You're getting your affiliate commission so why should you care whether the book is solid or not.

John and Bill have given some good information as to why this book should be viewed with caution. Can you enlighten us with information as to why this bunch are a "good shop"?

tacomax,

I would be more than happy to answer your questions.

1. I was paid to push and advertise there site

2. I have provided them advertising space on my website.

3. I have sent out an email to very large databases.

4. I check my affiliate login daily, People are depositing and People in general are lossing.

5. People that are winning are getting paid within the hour from there request.

6. Bill Dozer could vouch I have some solid contacts. (without naming books)

Thanks for your time.

Sorry but you didn't really answer the question. I asked for evidence that they are a good book - saying that you were paid to pimp them, that you provided them with webspace, that you sent emails out to a large database, that you check your affiliate login daily doesn't make them a good book. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

John advises that this book has the hallmarks of Oklahoma (RIP). Bill says that they're using fake player reviews on their website.

What information can you put forward to say they are a good book?

What backing do they have? Who owns it? Have the owners got any history?

You'll find that a lot of the well-known books will give you bonuses if you deposit for the NFL season. I had an email from WWTS offering me 20% for deposited between 27 Aug and 12 Sep. You'll most likely find other good books offering you similar deals.

I'd rather deposit and get a 20% bonus from WWTS rather than an unproven entity like RCS and I reckon most people here would agree with me.

Im speaking from bonus whore terms Tacoman

Does this shop even have a football season under its belt? I don't think they do ... domain name wasn't even registered until October 2004. Three or four years ago, a newcomer to the industry might have stood a chance ... it's a different story now, IMO. I, for one, would not be comfortable funding an account with a book that may or may not be around at this time next year. I'd much prefer the safety and security of a more established name. But that's just me ... gambling on the game is fun, gambling on the security of my post up is not.

Thanks for all the feedback. Conclusions: Deserve a better grade, but still have some proving to do in general. I certainly understand the reserve players have for new books but at least they are not giving the shop away. Reasonable bonus with 4x rollover and some other fun stuff(-107 days and -105 day.
Still looking for the 3rd book, I do appreciate all the feedback, it helps.

I get the feeling that big long threads like this - which I've seen at a few different forums - are good for a book like RCS even if almost everyone is saying, "Naw, ferget it."

Guys see what they want to see, and the bonus enthusiasts will just pick out the few-and-far-between endorsements and ignore that they may be tainted and dive in head-first anyway.

The bottom line is that its so easy to find a 20% bonus from an established book, that there is really no reason to go to these smaller books. One thing to think about is that these samll shops don't have enough cusotmer base to be getting two sided action. So you know when you are winning, they are outright losing. If you lsoe great, but if you win, you may well put them under.

I felt a little tension when I joined Rich Coast but I did win with the promo they offered and had some friends playing there. I sent down a small amount and received the 20% and all has gone particularly well. I have taken a small payout and they have -107 sunday night and -105 MNF. CS is very good. I know I could have done the easier option of playing where everyone else does but I think RichCoastSports is up and coming and will be around for a long time. I even was able to talk to one of the owners.
