Agree, Plus a quality poster, can Provide say 15-20 stright Winners, and the Degenerate wouldn't even send a guy a fruit basket. NO CLASS! but yet, they will py these "Professionals" Service Jokers upfront, for garbage, and the "Mods" Allow these Services to post, and they Clowns (serv) Use Words Like Lock and all these other BS Terms, now seasoned guy know and play accordingly, but what about the Newbies, They Can Lose Everything, and they may think well if SBR allows them to post they must to reliable. Then when real gambler, provides Info & Plays, they give him an "Infactions"... Thats why real gamblers, say why waste time on forums with Degenerates, they Only Take Take and Take, Never Give

Mathy, I'd say we have another three months until the true downfall occurs. The promise of the Bash will keep the current posters interested until August, and then will serve as the watershed event. Posters will have the ability to network outside the digital framework of SBR and afterwards will do their communications via phone or IM. After they mingle in person they'll realize how much more productive it is to share ideas absent the presence of the idiots, and the forum will seem much less appealing afterwards.

I don't think the current staff realizes that the current timbre of the board (pun slightly indtended) is a pattern that is wholely incompatible with growth of a quality nature. By thwarting efforts at community policing they embolden the "criminals" and disenfranchise the very backbone of the community. In order to return the forum to a healthy state, they have to allow posters to "take their licks" without protection. To do otherwise is to hand the asylum over to the inmates and watch it be dismantled by insanity.

Guys the places that have failed and dwindled to nothing had two things in common. 1) intolerance 2) lack of content.

The SBR team is working hard on a lot of content; great contests, two new web sites, company store, las vegas bash, videos and a lot more. Your community is like hanging at the country club, The SBR Country Club. There will always be something to complain about but its all good because at the end of the day there is a lot of good info and entertainment and its a cool place to hang. Less the occasional jackass.

Bringing back posters from the past is a big failure. Why gather all the failures from all the other failing forums to post under one roof?

I will give one big reason why this place will not fail....look above this page at all those banners...as long as people keep setting up accounts with those this place will always have money. There will always be people out there googling trying to find a new sports book and stumble across this place and sign up using a link around the site. The Site will then get a pct of the losses and stay in business forever.....its a never ending cycle.

All posters are welcome. I see a couple of guys like you mention have come over for a bit. Its forumville that too will pass. SBR is not recruiting them. Personally, I like home grown guys.

These ventures are businesses. No apology from me or denying it. The people behind SBR must deliver to those who take their precious time to visit.

I am very much against heavy moderation in a sports gambling forum. Its great when there is a post criticizing SBR mods for heavy handed moderation. But that means a side show might have to play itself out. Jackasses blow but censorship is worse.
