Just heard on the news that Terrel Owens just tried to kill himself by way of overdosing on some pills. On always suspected this cat wasn’t playing with a full deck, but I never saw this coming!

DALLAS - Flamboyant Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens attempted suicide by overdosing on pain medication, even putting two more pills into his mouth after fire rescue personnel arrived.

A Dallas police report released Wednesday morning said Owens told rescue workers “that he was depressed.” The report was first released by WFAA-TV.

The rescue worker “noticed that (his) prescription pain medication was empty and observed (Owens) putting two pills in his mouth,” the police report said.

Well sadly it may be working. I don't like the guy any more than the next person, but I don't want to see him kill himself. I don't think anyone here (myself included) realizes what mindset one has to be in order to attempt to kill yourself. I couldn’t begin to understand that, but you’re almost forced to feel empathy for him.

I can just hear the school teachers this morning: He told the friend who called 911 that he had taken only 5 pills before this incident. Bottle was empty and holds 40 pills. Etc.

Did you guys see the police report on this one. One of the local Dallas TV station got ahold of the original report, and the new one they released just a little while ago had alot of "whited out" parts in it. T.O.'s publiest should put quite a spin on this one.

I'm just wondering how this will affect the Cowboys this week come gameday.

Yeah, they are treating this incident as if it were related to the President. No one wants to comment on or confirm anything, his publicist wants us to believe this never happened, and now they claim he may return to practice as early as tomorrow. LOL….ridiculous.

A friend of mine last night, big guy use to play football and is on roids, said the whole thing has to do with steroids. Told me the report said pain medication and "supplements".

Cant remember exactly what he was telling me but something along the lines of mixture of the two did that to him and obviously he would rather tell cops it was the meds and all other crap he told them instead of saying it was the roids.

Take that for what you will but it makes sense to me.
