Looks like they have made some good progress as of latel. Heres the latest report on this book:

    27/09/2005 23:51:00
BESTLINESPORTS upgraded from C+ to B-. BLS earns this upgrade after months of positive customer feedback, launching a new website and software update, and reassuring SBR that they will continue to give players the benefit of the doubt should a dispute arise. BestLine has held a conservative rating as SBR observed how the book adjusted to the move from Costa Rica to Panama over one year ago.

have never played with them, and despite their progress lately, I wouldn't even consider it...

From a personal persepective, they locked my account until I agreed to their stipulations to alter my "betting style". In essence, Bestlinesports was not impressed that most of my wagers were on the Half-time basketball lines, and I had to agree to wager on other betting options before my account was unlocked...No joke.

Did you have the option to get your money?

Actually Bill, I don't believe that I could access my money...To be fair, I didn't ask at the time, but I was definitely informed (Over the phone), that until I agreed to change my wagering style, my account would remain disabled. Obviously, I felt pressured and agreed to their terms, at which point my account was immediately unlocked.

At the time of the "Hostage Account Incident", I was $1,000 or so short of my rollover requirement. Once they allowed me back in, I placed 2 or 3 wagers (None on the apparently much-feared 2nd half lines), met my rollover, and got out of Dodge. My funds request, the entire balance, was credited to my Netellet account without incident, fairly quickly as well if memory serves.

Recieved quite a bit of promotional flyer from them, but have yet to deposit funds. I think they also run a payperhead site for local books also, which would give them another stream of income.

I had my limits cut to $200 after about 2-3 bets there. Not a good place unless you are a small player.

I remember WagerWeb used to lock the accounts in order to deliver their message. They later agreed to lower the prop limits and contact the customer. Players should never be locked out of their account unless the check is in the mail.
