    Certainly not everything ...

If anyone has any ideas on other tools of this ilk that might be helpful to SBR posters, just let me know and I'll put it together.

How about a tool where you input the names of any two teams in any professional or college league and the tool outputs which team will win. That would be excellent. Let us know when it's done.

Would someone mind explaining what 'scalping' is?

It's when you bet both sides of a game for a profit.. Like if you found Atlanta -4 +110 and New orleans +4 -105... If you bet both sides you will gain a little profit..

    Atlanta bet 1000 Win 1100

New Orleans bet 1075 Win 1023.81

    If Atlanta Wins Up $25
If New Orleans Wins Up $23.81

JJGold suggested Round Robin and Reverse Bet calculators. Before I get to work on this I'd like to know if these would be of value to anyone else.

This is in the running for thread of the year.

I had a few of these built in Excel and building the rest has been on my to do list forever. Now I can take them off the list and start procrastinating about doing something else.

Thanks for the tools! If we ever meet, I'm buying the first couple of rounds.

Nice tools - any chance we could have a link to them from the main page?

Also, how about a 2-variable Poisson chart (like at Sharpsportsbetting.com)?

Not to mention the flashy 8-0 start in the BTP contest.

Betting tool employed there would seem to be none other than the 'ol noggin -- an oldie but goodie.

    Good Suggestion Robin

I know no site in the world except SBR that has a round robin calculator.

    Great job Ganch

    That is indeed the plan.

In the meantime the temporary betting tools home is Betting Tools Temporary Home.
