Default SBR team returns from visiting Olympic, WSEX and WWTS.

A couple of standout impressions are: Operators Spiro & Scotty (Olympic) and Jessica (WWTS) are the kind of people you would love to have in your family.

Spiro will become more aggressive marketing to smaller players.

Olympic is expanding and adding more work stations than I could count.

WWTS has the only female GM in the business. Jessica Davis is one of the best operators I have met. She is smart, pretty, strong(ex-college basket ball player), funny but mostly she is a super-charged bulldog and her staff loves her. I kind of wish I had half of those attributes.

WWTS has turned the corner from its massive re organization that included several aquisitions. Its stock is up 400% and their poker is doing great.

WSEX is like going to Uncle Bob's house every summer, nothing ever changes. They work hard and follow their systems.

Spiros and Jessica are a lot alike. They are easy to talk to, they take enormous pride in their operation but they want to hear every bit of critical comments that I could muster. WWTS would be smart to make sure Jessica has a long term contract.

I wonder if Spiro and Scotty will be competin for bidness?

What does Olympic look like? I picture the walls and desks all painted black with black Dell computers and people all dressed in white. Am I close?

I was not involved when I was down there as Spiro did not want to meet with me so I waited outside. I did not have much fun either although was only there for a day.

I met some low end guys only at Greek and the rest of the day was just hanging with locals on the corner whistling at girls.

    Good Report SBR

WeLL... The main entrance, reception area and executive offices are like walking into the lobby at the Ritz-Carlton. Very nice marble, a fish aquarium so big I was secretly day-dreaming about jigging a plastic worm when no one was looking. Spiros had a huge office with workout equipment so I found myself a bit conscious of my weight and kept sucking my stomach in and slightly expanding my chest.

Hats are coming. We arrived on a Saturday and I did learn something. I learned that sportsbooks are particulary busy this time of year. Made a note of that.

    Thank you for the review.

I know you have been visiting some offices before and I remember reading about your reviews. But I fail to see anything about bet365. Have you ever been there? If not, do you intend to visit some time in the near future? Although this place is mainly for recreational players and many posters avoid them, it is my preferred book. Best CS in the whole industry.

Taxy I was suppose to meet with Spiro and interview him but the guy is moody and blew me off because I hammered him like 2 years ago on a forum and he holds it against me

Even though I have him in my top 3 books of all time. He is a funny guy from what I am told. It would of been a good article too but he was afraid of me I guess so told his secretary I he was busy so I then just talked to lower end people since I was there.

I have nothing to report on Spiro

    Sorry

    Max,
You are indeed a sharp SBR reader. You are correct, SBR has never visited Bet365. I am looking forward to geeting over there and meeting Mr. Coats and the rest of the management. Pinnacle has an office there as does VIP and we will see Canbet and Bowmans too.

So you hammered him two years ago. And he blew you off when you went to see him last.

Seems to me that your life is one big homoerotic experience.

sbrjohn, would you mind passing along to Jessica that if they had a re-load bonus, they would retain a lot of their customers?...thanks...

Bet365 is in Stoke, England isnt it? Or do they have other offices?

If you're coming to England, could you sort out Corals?

When there are more double entendres in one post than half of a Carry On film then I'm unable to resist.

I can only assume that they mean a UK visit. Canbet & Bowmans are UK licenced as well as Bet365. It wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for Pinnacle/VIP to have a UK office, either.

I reckon that BuddyBear is going to turn up with a AK47 in the style of Michael Douglas in "Falling Down" to demand his hat.
