Bears win total -8.5 juiced to -183

    @ 5dimes.

I really like the total, especially with the schedule.

I took the Cardinals o7 last year, and still can't believe that cashed.

    Any thoughts?

Oh the irony. I had bears under 8.5 last year and I can't believe how and why it crashed. I had cards winning the division easily, still can't believe harbough turned the niners around and cheated me out of that one when the other two teams stunk it up.

I assume you mean cashed... And do you really not know why it cashed? They were 7-3 through the hardest part of their schedule and then lost Jay Cutler and Matt Forte, and considering the stupidity and lack of talent of their backups, those losses were gigantic. That is why it cashed.

Chalky, I really can't see how the Bears win any less than 10 games. Maybe I'm a homer, I just see a huge improvement with legitimate receivers and a legit O-coordinator who doesn't think it is the 90's still.

That is the crazy thing, they don't even need a huge improvement. If they just stay healthy, they get those wins. Considering the offensive upgrades, I do see an improvement for sure. We are a legit contender coming into this season.

    The schedule is not difficult.

It is juiced, but I can see myself tying some of my money up in this.

Lot of juice for a future, but I agree they should win 9

It is not unreasonable to believe a defensive minded team won't win two of its last six games without its starting qb and rb. After a few games the backup should have become decent and everybody thinks rbs are disposable so the bears should have been ok and made the playoffs with that 7-3 start. Yes I cashed, but I would this one was an anomaly.

Mike Tice's first year ever calling plays and he's legit already?

I think the Bears will be improved, but they still have a lot of questions, especially on defense.

Tough division, packers and lions are good

Who gives a shit about the division? It's who they're playing that effects their record.

  11. #11

Bears won't win more than 8 games and I'm a huge bears fan and know that.

  12. #12

Cutler was playing really great before he got hurt last year

Martz is gone, they got Marshall + the rookie reciever from Illi

I think their passing game will be better
its tough division with Det and GB, Minny should be better too

Marshall has been hyping up Hester so far

I'd be shocked if Bears win less than 11 games this year, just shocked

they would have won 11 games last year if Cutler and Forte stayed healthy and they added a huge addition to the offense with Marshall as well as a very good secondary back in Bush and a good athletic rookie in Alshon Jeffery

You're looking at a top 10 offense and top 10 defense. 12-4 next season maybe 13-3

Couldn't disagree more. Barring injuries like last year bears should easily cover that 8.5 number. Forte playing for new contract. Urlacher playing for new contract. This team should be dangerous this year!!

    Tough division.

Better off taking Giants UN whatever. Can not remember the last time they strung two good seasns together. Even when they make the playoffs they struggle.

Because they could easily go 2-4 against the NFC North.

Bears have improved, but I still don't think they are better than the Packers or Lions.

They destroyed the Lions at home last season and that was without Jeffery/Marshall/Bush

They'll go 1-1 against GB, 1-1 against Detroit and 2-0 against Minnesota

Bears are the 3rd or 4th best team in the league talentwise (GB, SF, NE). Would bet everything I own on them over 8.5 if I could.

No idea why they do not make those lines like -10 -110 or have options

what's the line on 10.5? That's the real play. Bears should win 11-13 games. Very close with San Francisco for 2nd best team in NFC after GB

Most over win totals are done if your team's starting QB goes down to injury.

Jason Campbell is competent. They'll win 10 games with him and 11-13 with Cutler

Shut up. Team is 5-11 team without Cutler, 11-5 team with him.
