Ranked #1 Florida State Weak Ass Schedule!!! NO BCS Championship

No Wonder Florida State can be ranked number 1 on Phil Steele .. Look at the pee wee league schedule they have... Oh But they do have 68 starters returning just to add that

    9/1 Murray St
    9/8 Savannah St
    9/15 Wake Forest
    9/22 Clemson
    9/29 at USF
    10/6 at NC State
    10/13 Boston College
    10/20 at Miami
    10/27 Duke
    11/3
    11/8 at Virginia Tech (Thur)
    11/17 at Maryland
    11/24 Florida

I still think Alabama or Oklahoma will take home the crown this year

NC State will beat them this year.

In fairness to the Noles - Sav State was supposed to be West Virginia - the Mountaineers backed out way late - giving the Noles not a lot of options for that spot.

It's Florida State, which means they will be way over rated in the preseason then choke in some games and lose games to athletically inferior teams, go 8-4 or 7-5, then play in some meaningless pre-New Years bowl game.

You can make an easy case at 7-5 here. Losses to Clemson, USF, NC State, Florida, Virginia Tech. There. Crazier things have happened. They should have lost to Jacksonville State back in 09.

No way they lose to USF. I don't see them losing to Florida for that matter, they've surpassed them at least for the next few years. Especially at home.

And bringing up a a game they "should have lost" 3 years ago? Is that a joke?

Not FSU's fault WVU backed out. Any other year a schedule with WVU/Clemson/USF/NCST/Miami/VT/UF on it would be very tough.

If anybody actually thinks FSU will lose three games this year then put your money where your mouth is and let's make a side wager or STFU. I'll give 2:1 for however much anybody wants that they don't lose 3 regular season games this year.

  23. #23

FSU will need to beat all of their opponents by 30+ points each because their SOS will be awful!

  24. #24

It's not a Boise State schedule, but it isn't close to a Big 12 or SEC one either

Either way, they won't be there in the end......They weren't even good last season at all (Losses to Wake Forest, Clemson, and UVA???)

I understand they were young but I just don't see it at all

LSU, BAMA and USC and then everyone else IMO......And then a few outside teams like UGA (#6), West Virginia (#7) , Oregon (#4), and South Carolina (#8) that have the potential to run it. That's it.

    FSU and Oklahoma.....Nope.

Moneylinedawg, you don't know what you're talking about. FSU suffered a ton of injuries, a letdown following a ridiculously intense OU game, and then went on to win almost all of their remaining games by 25+. And then lost almost nobody to graduation/the draft.

I guaran-*******-tee you that FSU and OU's combined ranking at the end of the season is lower than West Virginia and South Carolina's will be.

Looks like they took a page out of the Big Ten non-conference scheduling book. Not FSU's fault that the ACC is a down conference these days.

Bottomline is this....FSU WAS NOT GOOD last season....injuries or not

Come on man they lost to Wake Forest! Clemson was not good either, just the best of a joke conference (last season anyway).....And UVA beat them as well which is a shit loss

Do they have the talent to make a run this season? Yeah they have alot of talent, I'll give you that......But I just think they are a little over hyped based off of being "Florida State". They haven't been in National Championship contention for years now

South Carolina, WVU, FSU, and Okie are all in the "next tier" my personal opinion is WVU and SCAR will be the better squads......It's not insane, they are all top 10 pre-season

Big 12 will be a grind......They will drop a few "they shouldn't" like they have been the past few years

Could easily lose @ TCU, @ WVU, vs. Oklahoma State, vs. Texas (Tough games vs. Baylor, K-State, @ Iowa State, and vs. Notre Dame as well)

It's not a cakewalk at all

    (Just my personal opinion)

Just shut up with your stupid opinions and let's make a bet.

FSU's final BCS ranking plus Oklahoma's final BCS ranking will be lower than South Carolina's final BCS ranking plus West Virginia's final BCS ranking.

    Name the stakes.

Make the bet or STFU. That's how gamblers do it.

    My personal opinion??

Your beloved team LOST to 3 SHITTY ACC squads.....That's a FACT

LOSERS make excuses like "emotional letdown"

How about I just get South Carolina and West Virginia you get Florida State and Oklahoma.....Best final ranking at the end of the season wins amongst those 4 teams (If South Carolina ends at #3, FSU # 7, Oklahoma #8, West Virginia #15, I win with South Carolina for example)

You name the stakes, I'm down for whatever man even though I should be getting + odds I will make it an even money bet since you challenged me
