Thumbs up Sportsinteraction - FINALLY paid me!!!!

August 23, 2006 Deposit Can$60.00

September 06, 2006 - Withdrawal (ECheck) Can$1742.61

September 13, 2006 - Withdrawal (ECheck) Can$133.55

On August 23, I did an EFT from my bank account for $60 CAD$ to my Sportsinteraction (SIA) account. After 10 days I has approx $1225 in the account. I requested a withdrawal via e-check. My withdrawal request was denied as I used EFT to fund the account and had to wait 14 days to withdraw, I thought they could/should hold the initial $60, but couldn't do anything about it so I played more, and won more.

On September 6, 2006 I requested a payout of $1472.61 via e-check back into my CIBC chequing account. I received an email from SIA that said:

"Your Sports Interaction withdrawal has been processed.

CAD 1,742.61 has been transferred to your bank account as detailed
below
and should reach your account within 3-4 business days."

After 5 business days I called SIA customer support and was told something like:

"It should be there today or tomorrow, sometimes these take longer than 5 days".
Their email clearly stated 3-4 business days and it has been over a week, no money received.

As of Sept 13, 2006, no money was received by my bank- CIBC. I am in direct communication with a woman who works in my branch and handles the wire transfers, my telephone calls to her end the same way, they haven't received anything.

As of today Sept 20, 2006 I still haven't received my money, my phone calls to SIA customer support seem futile, everytime I call in I have to explain my situation and I get the same reply:
"our records show this transaction as settled"

I have contacted josh at sportsbookreview and he has also inquired on my behalf.

Subsequent emails to SIA are met with the reply that they are asking their "processor" to start an investigation.
I'm told this can take "up to 5-10 BUSINESS days". Don't they use email/computers? What takes 5-10 business days?

Since I'm having these problems I've attempted to withdraw the remaining Can$133.55 from my SIA account, I requested this on Sep 13, 2006. Nothing received yet.

I will update as things happen, I'm very thankful for Josh acting on my behalf, although it is not yet resolved.

I've had an account at SIA for at least two years, I was playing alot of poker tournaments there and although the customer service phone reps seem a little dazed and uninformed I received my payouts, (all previous withdrawals were for less than 1K).

This time I turned $60 into $1750 and wanted to cashout, I'm still waiting for my $$$. SIA contends they have sent the money but cannot be any more specific. I believe there has been an error somewhere, I do NOT believe they are trying to beat me for my $1742, I HAVE received all prior payments.

The MOST frustrating part is the slow response and TERRIBLE customer service! NOTHING should take this long to correct, they shift the blame to their "processor". Is this the same processor who took the $60 out of my bank account? The same bank account that I requested the payment go into? They have all of this information in their system.

Today they sent an email that included:

"We would like to kindly apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced in regards to this situation. We are aware that you informed us that you have not received the funds as of yet however at our end our confirmation that we received from our processor is that the funds have been settled by the bank.

To this end our Accounts Department has contacted our processor and they have started an investigation with your bank to locate exactly were the funds have went. Unfortunately we do not have an exact time frame that we will receive a response from our processor as it all depends on the time frame it takes for your bank to contact our processor. Please be aware that were will recitify this situation as soon as possible and we thank you for your patience in this matter.

On another note we have reviewed your account and see that you have yet to enjoy Sports Interactions Casino so for the inconvenience with the withdrawal we have applied a 100$ bonus to your Casino Account. You may download the casino and log into your account to use this bonus. Please note as per our Casino Bonus Terms and Conditions there is a 20 time turnover on the bonus before it can be withdrawn or transferred. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and we thank you for your patience in this matter.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Should I play in their casino? LOL!

Betplom -

sorry to hear about your difficulties with them. I have played with them, and never had a problem with a payout. I use neteller though which helps - there are a lot more payout problems with e-check and cc than Neteller.

If you would like help resolving this problem, feel free to contact us at assistance@sportsbookreview.com, or me personally at Justin@sportsbookreview.com.

Thumbs down email from SIA

Email from SIA received 9/21/2006.

First they told me they would investigate, now they want my bank to send them information, now its been over two weeks since this all started. If this info was/is so crucial, why wouldn't they ask for it initially?

REFERENCE NUMBER: LTK6308796873X Please use this ticket number in any
correspondence with us.
SUBJECT: Re: [Withdrawal Processed] I haven't received the funds

Dear Sir ,

Thank you for contacting Sports Interaction.

I apologize for the troubles this has caused. Our accounts department
has confirmed that your withdrawl from September 6th was received by
your bank. They are asking that you have the bank send a statement showing
there was no deposits made from this date. Our toll free fax number is
1-888-726-9240. Please quote your username on that fax. We then
investigate this issue.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

I'm on my way to work, I'm stopping by my bank and having my bank statement from Sept 1, 2006 to Sept 21, 2006 printed out and faxed to SIA to prove I haven't received anything.

Sports Interaction is a good book. With the exception of the tech disaster that they had a few weeks ago, they have been reliable for a couple years at least. They still pay to Neteller within 24hrs. Sounds like you are simply a bungle.

So I went to my CIBC branch in Toronto and had them print out all transactions on my account from Aug 21 to Sep 21, stamp the copies with a branch stamp and then fax the documents to Sportsinteraction. There is no transaction that shows any deposit or other transaction for $1742. My bank has not received the funds. I am in contact with someone in the dept that handles these transactions, she assures me if/when the transfer comes in she will contact me via telephone. I'm still waiting for my $133 payout that clears my SIA account of any remaining funds. No sign of it yet either, that withdrawal request was made Sept 13, 2006.

betplom,

Is certain bad how long this is taking, but we have the manager working on it and when money goes missing via electronic transfers this type of thing can happen to any book.

The initial lack of communication from SIA was poor, but I think they are working hard on it now.

Your updates to them with bank data will hopefully resolve it.

I have had situations person like this with higher rated books and it can take a while to resolve.

An honest question.....This place seems to be popular with quite a few posters, thus I have to ask: Why?

I have read on a number of occasions that they have good dog lines, but is there something else? A 75% bonus or something? I can't quite understand what would attract somebody to the type of uncertainty and frustration that seems to rear it's head on a continuing basis with this outfit.

I've never played there, so I'm just wondering if there is some amazing benefit(s) that I'm missing that masks the incompetence.

They rarely have re-load bonuses, no loyalty program, just the lines, good dogs and unders.

Free NT is nice... when they pay on time.

Speaking of Shitty Sticks, I just watched a show on the History Channel which informed me that a significant part of the world's population does not have access to paper and therefore uses their left hands to "cleanse" themselves after they empty their colons. It is for this reason specifically that absolutely nobody in these areas are left-handed. No joke.

I had to watch something during all the commercials in tonight's football game. The joys of TIVO. During the course of the entire mindnumbing game, I was able to watch 2 previously recorded shows that actually stimulated my brain to some extent and allowed me to pass along some knowledge to my forum brothers.

Default SIA - Still waiting

Sept, 25, 2006

RE: LTK6308xxxxxx LTK6308xxxxxx LTK630xxxxx289X

I've been given at least three different reference numbers for my missing funds. Please advise as to the status of my missing money.

P.

username: P--------

Also, when I called in today to ask about the progress on getting me paid I was told the fax I sent them last Thursday was too light to be read and would have to be re-sent. I asked why they didn't notify me sooner that the fax was no good? They said the accounts department sent me an email. They did not send me anything, more lies from the group of ****wits known as Sportsinteraction.

Inept = Sportsinteraction.

Still no sign of my missing my $$$. But I sure can take their excuses to the bank now can't I?

This whole fiasco started Sept 6, 2006. How long can/will it go on?

Amazing.

I should add that the person who took my call today was as helpful/sympathetic as could be, she has spoken to me a few times before and is familiar with the situation. I reminded her of her previous emails to me ( I have all correspondance with SIA saved) which stated this would be correcty by a certain date that has now come and gone. I think they are trying to fix this. At least I hope so.

how do they go about picking and choosing people that they pay on time and people that they slow pay...this is the one book that seems to fool a certain percentage of the public into thinking they are actually a good book...it's truly amazing...

Feels like its getting closer. I received this email today:

Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2006 14:52:47 -0400
Our Accounts Manager is still in contact with our processor to confirm the location of your funds. We have been attempting to get resolution from them as quick as possible. Please note that we have requested a tracer from the processing bank in order to get that information to you. We are expecting to receive an update by tomorrow regarding your situation. Rest assured that we will be in contact with you as soon as we hear something. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Best regards,

Hawi

I'll keep posting as this plays out, if for no other reason than to log the emails and timeframe on this. Hopefully others can benefit from my experience.

My bank told me that if they receive a transfer/wire in error than no later than 48 hrs later it would be returned to the issuing bank.

SIA wires originate in Europe, Ireland I believe, so it can take a few days to get corrected, but this whole process started Sept 6, 2006, its been 20 days. I'll post emails I receive from them.

If you play at SIA, use neteller.

I ran a balance up there - was paid $2500 two days in a row in less than 3 hours via neteller.

In the past with bank wires, it was a disaster.

They either are incompetent or just don't want people who don't use neteller.

From SIA:

Good news! The processor has finally returned this customer’s money to us due to a withdrawal transmission difficulty. We have resubmitted it for immediate payment to his CIBC bank account. While this problem was out of our control, we do accept the balance for it and will also credit this customer’s Sports Interaction account with another $100 as a goodwill gesture.

Sports Interaction strives to make the withdrawal process as simple and fast as possible. That is only in our best interest for customer retention.

This customer will receive an email and a phone all from our customer service department today, advising him of the developments.

It's true, I received a phone call from a supervisor at SIA and was told my e-check deposit to my bank account was re-sent today, Sept 27, 2006.

They have verified that I never received the payout and as a goodwill gesture for my frustration added $100 to my SIA poker account.

Thanks Josh and any other SBR members who helped with this.
The phone call from SIA telling me I'm getting my money made my day. I was truly frustrated with the call reps as they were always insisting that "the payment has been settled by our bank".

Thanks again!!

Dear Sir,

Thank you for being a member of Sports Interaction.

We have had a few conversations regarding your missing withdrawal. We have heard and received the money back from the processor. There seems to have been withdrawal transmission difficulties. We have resubmitted it for payment to your CIBC bank account. We have also resubmitted the second withdrawal. The funds you will receive in your CIBC bank account will be 1,876.16. While this problem was out of our control, we do accept the responsibility for this error.

On behalf of Sports Interaction, we apologize for the difficulties that you have experienced. We are also pleased to let you know we have credited your account with $100.00 as a gesture of goodwill.

We wish you the best of luck and are looking forward to interacting with you in the future.

Best regards,

Hannah

Sports Interaction Supervisor
