Auburn College football players feared dead in US shootings
STUDENT football players are feared to have been killed in a suspected shooting rampage at a US university building.
Three people are reported to have died and two others are seriously injured after the incident at a halls of residence in Alabama.
American football players from the Auburn University are believed to be the victims in the shooting.
Former AU players Ladarious Phillips and Ed Christian. Current player Eric Mack. Mack in Critical Condition while the other two are dead.

It was at an apartment complex not a university building or a "hall of residence". Dumbfukk foreigners.
It's a big deal around here. Folks are still in shock. If this keeps up they are going to stop giving scholorships to the undesired elements that get involved in this type of behavior and just go 0-12 every year. These folks don't like this kind of attention. Right around the corner from the local Wal Mart and a few feet from where the old money big neighborhoods are. Shame.

Only whites and asians do school shootings I was told.
"The only connection that the Auburn football team has to this is they are victims of a brutal shooting. Sometimes the young men get a bad rap, I feel like, but they are the victims today," Dawson said.
Who knows what they did to piss this guy off though is the problem.
Local news here in auburn said eyewitness reported
Two men were approached by said gunman and gunman's friend, they were in an argument over a female. One of the victims punched one of harrassing party, while the other friend hit both over the head with a wine bottle.
After being hit with a bottle, the alleged gunman pulled gun and drew fire on them.
Apparently more people than needed to be were hurt, and its too bad it happened the way it did.
It just goes to show that its better to walk away from a fight.
And not to bring a wine bottle to a gun fight.
The shooter turned himself in tonight.

Opelika is growing but still not comparable to Auburn in terms of entertainment. Auburn has had its fair share of incidents, but you can expect that from a university town. Lots of people,most from out of town, gathering together and eager to display dominance of new territory. Locals don't usually act like that. There are plenty of places in Auburn that never have any drama take place. Tonight just outside of auburn there is a live show in Waverly, where nothing but victimless crime takes place. The women will be in short dresses and will likely be barefooted and rocking out to some bluegrass. Picking and grinning.
My maternal grandparents lived in Opelika... I have fond memories of that quaint town during the 60-70s

Not even close, I can take you to far worse places in Opelika compared to Auburn
And y'all do know that this shooting took place at a gated apartment complex right? Luckily I lived there when it was new and only rich kids lived there.
