Denver got a boatload of picks and Kyle Orton who started 32 games for them and did reasonbly well given expectations.

That isn't right. In addition to Orton, Denver got Chicago's 2009 and 2010 first round picks and swapped their 2009 5th round pick for the Bears 3rd round pick. In other words, they got 2 picks and moved up a couple rounds. They traded their 2010 for different picks, but that's a different deal. 2 picks is not a boatload. Originally Posted by slacker00

Absolutely nothing.
And it's not like the Bronco's got nothing either. They got 2 first round picks (which they ended up flubbing, but you can't predict that).

2 full seasons under Cutler. 18-8 last two seasons under Cutler and made a conference championship game. All with a pathetic receiving corps. Time will tell. The trade was absolutely a good one for the Bears, but it guarantees nothing, QB is only one position and there are a lot of teams fighting for the same ring.
