Thumbs down It's Wednesday Morning and Bodog still hasn't put up thier NCAAF lines yet

how can an "A+" book be the last one to post their lines. And when they finally do post them a good number of lines will feature lines that have -105/-115 perhaps even -100/-120

And once the lines do come there will be not be a single number that Pinnacle does not have a better line and/or price. Well both them are "A+" books even though if you go to any forum you find an alarming number of posters who criticize them adamantly.

This is unbelievably weak not to put up your lines IMO.

I actually agree. Believe or not they now put up their lines much earlier than they used to.

I thought today was Friday. Anyone know who won the Thursday night NCAA game between Virginia & Georgia Tech?

Hey I'll go with is being Weds. That means I'm off for 4 days at 5pm tonight.

I don't think Bodog posts their NCAA games until 12-24 hours before the games. At least that's been my experience with them.

If it's Wednesday today then can someone please advise me what day it's going to be tomorrow? I've got an appointment on Thursday which I need to keep but I think that with these quantum leaps we're experiencing, I'm going to somehow miss it.

They really should hang a number for Virgina vs Georgia Tech which is painted -17 across the board. The game is Thursday only 53 hours away and no line???

Am I missing something here? They could hang -17 -110 and hedge either way off Pinny's numbers and make a profit so it cant be a case of being scared. Its either being dumb or being lazy. C'mon Bo, hang some numbers so we can plunge our brains out already!

It really should not be an issue because many books have early lines so why do you need bodog for early numbers?

They have good dog lines later in the week anyway so we should not complain.

The last thing I would ever want to do is play at BODOG again, everything is horrible except service.

Ah, but it gives people with nothing better to do with their time the chance to have a pop at the SBR recommended books.

Bodog put up later lines than at lot of other places (although they seem to put them up earlier these days) - it's a fact of life. They've done it in the past, they do it now and they'll no doubt do it in the future since it's a specific business decision. If you don't like it, play with someone else for the early lines and take advantage of the advantages which Bodog do offer. Or just play somewhere else altogether. You generally never get exactly everything you need from one place - this is true for most industries and the sportsbook sector is no different.

What's the next thread going to be today? Having a moan at Pinnacle for not offering a CS phone service?

Well at least Bodog puts up football lines a few days early. If we're talking about major boxing matches the line doesn't go up until the DAY of the fight.

Taco you are seriously an idiot....

This has nothing to do with SBR and everything to do with "player's talk" Let's get a couple things clear Pinnacle has no phone service b/c it helps them to offer lower juice and other great service...so there is an underlying rationale out there for that. BoDog has absolutely no rationale whatsoever for not putting up lines. Considering every other book has lines up I find extremely unique that an A+ book is the last ones to offer NCAAF lines. I mean seriously what is wrong with asking why they don't....everyone else has them so my expectation is that they should or that they better have a persuasive reason....

Second, BoDog is a high quality book and has some nice features. It's certainly worth opening up an account with and having some funds. Just b/c I criticize it does not mean anything other than I am a customer and there are certain changes I'd like to see...

And if you haven't noticed...unlike you...i have better things to do. It's been a very long time since i've posted unlike you who has nothing to do posting throughout the course of the day.

Sorry I have to embarrass you again just like Pags did last year but someone has to do it

A forum tends to work best when you criticise the argument, not the poster. Nevermind if you can't understand this, I guess I'll live with it. But since you don't even seem to know what frickin' day it is, I don't expect very much to be honest.

This isn't rocket science - it's pretty basic business sense, just like the way they deal dual lines. Are you telling me you honestly can't think of a reason why Bodog put up their lines late? Seriously? Do you want to use up one of your lifelines?
