    Default Picks and HF advantage

    Last week, many posters were pounding on the Chargers -3 at home against the Steelers. This week, SD plays in Oakland and suddenly, the play is Raiders +1. Of course, I'm generalizing here, just to make a point.

    Is home field advantage such an issue? Have we overestimated the Chargers? Or is Oakland the one being overrated?

    JJ, didn't you mention NFL dogs having the edge so far, this season? Maybe I should go ahead and pick a few of them.

    Homefield Advantage in the NFL is worth about 3 points. In college, its worth 4 or 5 points depending on the school.
