Paramedics went out on the field like it was just a stroll through the park. No urgency.

Definitely. How many people have been injured as a result of broken bats? I see a potential class-action suit.

guy was carried off on a backboard.... barrel must have been moving at 75 mph's or above when it hit him, with about 2 lbs of weight....

I hope he has good insurance because only an insane person will sit behind an area where 100 mph balls are thrown in your face and 75 mph bats that break easily are swang in front of you.

oh don't get me wrong you definlty have to have some bulls being a UMP. I'm curious if a player ever rolled on a umpire cuz of a call. i'm going to look this one up.
