    Rangers sign Oswalt

    Reports all day have said Roy Oswalt was closing to choosing a new team and the Rangers were heavy favorites, and now Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News writes that Texas has indeed signed the 34-year-old free agent.

    As a Ranger fan, I say to Nolan and Daniels for this move. This is SO sweet compared to our previous ownership. Even if he doesn't pay off (and I think it will likely be a positive move) they are not afraid to spend some bucks to WIN!
