The Cris website has become really aweful.
Some facts of what happened lately:

- Bets that were accepted didnt show at open bets.
They simply disappeared, asking CS resulted in "sorry there are
no bets.

- I try to bet a line, and it changes. Iam ok with the new price and place the bet. Can you imagine: they give me an even worse price, without warning me again. 10c worse!

- the site is down and slow loading specially during crunch times, but thats nothing new right?

- there is still the cent stealing with rounding bets


Overall this is so unacceptable for a book like CRIS, and i agree with what Slash posted some time ago: their site has become one of the worst.
I hope SBR will look into this, iam not the only one who experienced this i spoke with several people...
They can sponsor 100 contests here i dont care.

that has happend to me too last month. after the game started i noticed that my balance is the same and see no open bets. i check my screenshot and see that it clearly says bet is accepted, but upon further review the ticket number was blank. so no wager for me. the wager pushed so no case for me. always check for ticket numbers.

As I was reading this I thought for sure someone else got screwed like I just did but apparently mine was even worse.

I just went to place a wager on football -2.5 -110 the lines moves warning me. Ok now its -2.5 -120. Fine. I type my password *BOOM* I just locked in a wager -3 -120.

WTF. I definitely didn't want -3. No recourse. How the hell do you stop that from happening. It got me to thinking what's to stop a book from putting different lines in the pending wagers after you already bet.

Cris's confirm screen is completely different than when you type in the password and they changed the spread on me.

I have not had that happen to me. When the line changes while confirming the bet, the bet will not confirm. A new screen shows up asking you to confirm the bet with a different line.

I had that same problem with them on the safari browser

I think the lesson here is don't accept the new price by typing your password as it opens a pandoras box and you have no idea what line you are actually agreeing to.

Hit the back button a couple times. Refresh the lines. Start the betting process from the beginning is now my motto with them.

I can confirm the two problems described here happened to me as well. Don't know if these are the problems of new software since I didn't bet much on its old interface. From now on, I will never confirm to accept new price when the warning message appears. And don't wait too long on the confirm screen because one time I hesitated too long my bet looked like accepted but actually not. Always check open bets.

Not to downplay you alls problem with Cris but I find it to be a pretty good book. I guess after coming from Sportsinteraction anything is an upgrade. Cris has always been pretty easy for me to get around on. Like a couple of people said, just go back to the beginning and do the wager process from the beginning and youre assured there will not be a problem.

Like someone mentioned earlier, it is important to check that a ticket number is created with the message "Wager has been accepted", or whatever verbage is used.

You can add not paying out Netellers on the weekend (what a joke), and someone who requested a payout on friday at 2pm didnt get paid and will be paid at monday prolly. Including the fee, i would place a bet on that.

They dont take their customers important, personal downgrade for myself to B.

Is CRIS the only site that requires you type in your password to confirm every bet? ... It's really tiresome ... And don't ya just love that you have to start all over with the main screen to make another bet in the same sport ... And trying to access their site during crunch time is a joke.

I actually like the password entering although it is an extra step but at least it is a confirmed bet. Bad part though it's only confirmed by me and sometimes BetCRIS says, "sorry there was no bet." I've requested an e-mail confirmation for each of my bets but they tell me they don't have that feature. Well it's easy to implement a program that will automatically send a confirmation of each wager placed at the request of the contestant into their e-mail.

And the cent shaving. Man that drives me nuts. It works both ways. They will round up if you lose and round down if you win. But I hope that's just in the wager screen and not the bottom line balance.

Overall I have total confidence in BetCRIS. My money is secure and they have some kick-ass contests. Not to mention a first class loyalty program.

i have just started using cris and i have not had the problems the rest of you speak of. yes the software is slow but i have yet to have a problem getting a bet in when i wanted it? and i put in many halftime bets this weekend at times i would think they would handle a heavy load. as for payouts i cannot speak of them because i just made my first depsoit there this football season

Yeah, but the initial problems discussed in this thread sound like legitimate errors on the part of CRIS and their software not the posters just confirrming their passwords and accepting the "new" line (Bets disappearing, confirming one line and getting one with 10c extra juice, etc.)

Any real update on the software issue? We all know they pay, will continue to pay, blah, blah, blah. We don't need that rhetoric to be reinforced.

The issue is players getting stuck with bets they NEVER agreed to and bets disappearing that players confirmed TWICE.

just to let you all know, a friend of mine who requested a payout on friday was paid monday at a late time. He was told he was 4 minutes too late to receive the payout on friday, 3.04pm...and they also took $30 fees from him because of those 4 minutes. Top book? I think not...

For future reference, if trying to get a free cash out from CRIS, do it first thing in the morning on Friday and remind them after an hour on live chat. I typically will phone in a cashout request, seems to expedite the process for me.

I too always try to call if I want to do a Friday withdrawal, just to confirm that the freebie policy is still in place. I also try to make the withdrawal early if possible, as the cutoff time seemed to keep changing on me. (One week I called in the late afternoon and they said it was only good until 4:00 EST. Then the next time I called at 3:45 EST and they said it’s only good until 3:00, etc. The most recent time they told me it goes by when they get around to processing it rather than when I request it, so even though I was calling at something like 1:30 or 2:00 EST, if they said if they didn’t get to it by the end of their business day, they’d send it to me on Monday and charge me. As it happens they did get to it on Friday, but all the more reason one should try to get one’s requests in early.)

Also, on the topic of CRIS, I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but if you bet baseball at all you’ll probably want to play at Diamond instead. That’s CRIS’s book that’s basically an exact clone of the regular CRIS site except that they have a dime line in baseball.

I've never had a problem getting paid, and I always call in on Fridays and receive my neteller payouts within one full day...
