Kobe chokes again and nobody says a thing?

Why is it that Kobe is exempt from his horrible play of late and when Lebron misses a shot he gets ripped apart for it?

Kobe is turning the ball over on countless boneheaded plays and nobody seems to notice.

News flash, Kobe Bryant is the newest NBA choke artist.

Many idiots nobody takes serious post charts showing lebron is clutch.

One of the things the stat stuffer charts ignore are freethrows.

    Obv nobody takes people serious.

Get ready some young kid or uneducated white trash worker is about to post a chart. Idiots.

LOL, rich boy are you slow?

KOBE never missed a free throw tonight. LEbron is the master of missing key free throws.

Sure Kobe came up with free throws tonight, but when they needed him to make a shot he couldn't deliver.

Im not saying the guy isn't clutch. I am just saying people will only look at his performance in a positive light. If he blows it, then someone else gets blamed or he had an "off" night.

If Lebron blows it, the whole world jumps on and bashes him, even when it could be blamed on other teammates.

  9. #9

He made the FT's. What makes it significant is that no one thought he would miss any.

  10. #10

Tell Lebron to stop missing key free throws.

Kobe's done enough to get benefit of the doubt. Lebron only that one three pointer vs the magic Agee years back. That's it.

  12. #12

What was it 16 for 16 at the stripe including a pair with 30 seconds to go? He had 1/3 of LA's points and played good D. I give the devil his due tonight.

possibly one of the dumbest fukking threads NOT started by jj, in 2012 so far...unreal how bad guys hate for players buries them when betting...and no, dont say it didnt fukk you somehow...when guys hate on a player, they have gotten their ass handed to them by that player in one way or another...

So, you title your thread "Kobe chokes again and nobody says a thing?" and then proceed to say that "I'm not saying the guy isn't clutch."

And not to be outdone by your own stupidity, you manage in one sentence to entirely contradict yourself again, "Sure Kobe came up with free throws tonight, but when they needed him to make a shot he couldn't deliver. "

You sir HAVE to be the stoopidest, idiot on this form. Good luck in life but it ain't looking good for you.

I live in Southern Cali and all I heard on the radio stations out here is how Kobe had his worse game in years after game 2. I don't know how u can say he doesn't hear shit. I've heard many mnay many times that Kobe cost the Lakers the win if he misses shots. The thing is he is the greatest closer in the league and even he isn't perfect. Lebron chokes almost every time.

    Kobe Bryant

1/8 in 4th quarter and chokes on the game tying 3

Nobody will even mention this, it will be a "team loss". Sickening.

  18. #18

you do realize he has been in the league for 16 yrs and he's pushin 35...and he has to go up against guys who could literally be his kids..he played tremendous, its just too much to ask him to carry the team on b2b nights..thats not realistic.

  19. #19

Rich, tonight he took some bad shots in the 4th. Lebron gets so much hate and choke comments because he hasnt won yet. Once LBJ gets #1 it will stop.

lso kobe took that game tying shot. LBJ is afraid to attempt it.

  20. #20

kobe shot them out of 3 games in a row. He just got bailed out last night because they kept putting him on the line, they almost did it tonight as well but Durant buried them with that 3.

When you let guys sit and shoot free throws all night they are going to look good. Sure he makes them, but most pros should make their free throws.

The biggest difference between the two guys is the heat shouldnt be that close in the first place and a missed free throw shouldnt be losing the game for them. lakers arent anywhere near as good as the Thunder are but refs are basically giving Lakers a free throw drill just to keep them competitive.

  21. #21

He did not play well in 4th quarter, but do respect his willingness to put game on his shoulders.

  22. #22

kobe is old and has proven himself enough to where no one cares if he screws up. this lakers team was never really expected to do anything. honestly anything else he can accomplish at this point in his career is a bonus.

lebron gets shit because his only claim to fame outside of his mvp's is getting swept by the spurs in the worst finals ever.

it really all boils down to a) lebron shouldn't have made the tv show and b) he shouldn't have said "not 3, not 4, not 5..." or whatever it was. never has the world had so much collateral with which to hate an nba player against when he doesn't deliver on a night-in, night-out basis.

newest? hes been a choke artist for years

  24. #24

Simple, Kobe has more than proved himself in this league. Nobody expected him to beat this OKC team on his own.

On the other hand, everyone expected LeBron to win IT ALL including himself....and he can't even beat the Indiana Pacers with arguably the 2nd best player of the East.

So yeah....of course LeBron deserves much more criticism than Kobe, no question.

  25. #25

y is it that people need to bring up lebron when the topic is kobe ?
does lebron choking make kobe less of a choker?

the dude was pretty bad the last 3 games in the 4th quarter
OP's point is that he couldnt make a SHOT at the end of games
FT's are wat bailed him out and its a credit to him for hitting them
but fouls are very subjective and we see the result when he coudlnt get to the line tonite

  26. #26

That sucked!!!! F u kobe, clown

    kobe has a team also
if he chooses to ignore them and gun down the stretch, u cant go back and say its kobe vs the thunder
kobe chooses to make it that way, so u cant exactly make excuses for it when he fails

  28. #28

the reason why kobe fails is because he doesnt make people around him better. That will always be his legacy to me. also why he has never had anyone freely go to the lakers to play with him as a free agent or even wholeheartedly want to go there in a trade.

The only 'big' name to ever be mentioned going to the lakers was Chris paul this year, and that was squashed, and if you asked paul and he gave a candid answer he would say he is MUCH happier with the clippers than he would be with the Lakers.

lebron might never win a ring.

lebron should just sign with the spurs for $4 million a year

wat does kobe choking down the stretch again have to do with lebron?
was it lakers vs heat tonite?
mayb it was lebron out there with a #24 jersey??
