Default Beware Mansion - deleting bets again

Since I was familiar with what happened last time I know have a print screen to prove that I have a Betid # and that it is in my Unsettled bets.

You are aware that Offers also have a Bet ID #, and also show up in the "Unsettled" Bet History (check the status column to determine whether it's a Bet or an Offer)?

Maybe you could post a screen shot of the bet .. not saying it never happened, but I have made literally thousands of bets there, and it's never happened to me.

Has not happened to me yet either & I have made loads of bets there.

Just in case though I always take Screenshots of all my bets (Not just Mansion).

Better to be safe then sorry

Yes I know what you are referring to and it's happened to me before. I specifically went into unsettled bets and did a print screen of all the wagers I had. This one shows up and shows "bet" instead of "offer" The bet id is in the same numbering sequence as the other bets I had.

Just for practice to verify what you are saying I just threw a $1 offer out there and went to unsettled bets and sure enough it shows up there as "offer" and the bet Id # is way out of sync with my other "bet" id #'s. It has an extra # in it even.

I find it strange that it has never happened to me either as I'm in the same boat as Halifax. I have made thousands and thousands of bets with Mansion and never had a problem.

If the bet is showing up in the "Unsettled" Bet History, what makes you think that it's been deleted ?

You have to be careful with Mansion. I lost a wager there as well. Unless, as they eventually concluded, it was the only wager I ever placed that I forgot to confirm... This is why I will never consider them a main book, no matter how many $5 million promotions they throw our way.

It WAS showing in my "unsettled" history. Then "poof" it was gone.

Of course it won. I've sent them the print screen of the wager

I have proof that this happened to me once, but it was when the site was EXTREMELY bogged down and buggy, almost to the point of unusable.

But I definitely have a screenshot of a bet, not an offer, with a betID that went 'poof'.

Was it resolved in your favor?

I never made a claim on it. Here's why:

#1 The site was behaving so badly that after the bet wouldn't show up again in the bet history for about 10 minutes, I decided it was most likely that the bet was really gone from the system so I placed it elsewhere.

#2 It was only a small portion of my overall bet on the game that I placed at Mansion.

#3 During the same period, I had a larger bet also disappear on a game that lost, so I didn't exactly want ALL of my disappearing bets found.

I am very curious how your claim goes, though. Keep us posted. I've always wondered how good of proof a screenshot is. I take them religiously, but I've never had to use one. I've always thought, how hard would it really be to doctor a screenshot?

I have had5 NFL futures bets go missing this week (all placed at the same time). Was promised an investigation and response within 24 houts (2 days ago). Not heard back yet.

What has worried me most about this situation is that Mansion are in denial that there is an issue.

"MANSION Andy:
our software does work as there has not been any issues with other players"

?? I quoted a few letters from there Customer Services Managers (posted on this website , thanks guys) . But Andy still denied there were any problems.

I understand what you mean by this. However if the bet acceptance procedure was proving a little fragile then Mansion would have corrected it so that customers would not continue to make the same mistake, alternatively there would be warning signs, eg dont press the back button , make sure you click on confirm etc.

Personally I am unsure what the problem is . One option is that it could be a software problem.
The alternative is a bit more worrying. It appears to me that there may be some "Mansion money" on the exchanges, as the liquidity is pretty good, and the sums are always round numbers. The numbers in the exchanges are also frequently pretty sloppy, (the prices I got on the NFL futures were well out of line). So, I just wonder if we have a nervous trader worried about the lines he has posted who is making some adjustments to bets taken.
Whatever it is it want be resolved until Mansion admits the problem to itself.

I'm about 99.9% sure that it is simply a very rare (although very important to fix) software glitch. I would bet most of my bankroll that it is absolutely not anything malicious on Mansion's part. They give away WAY too much money on super-friendly promotions to be worried about screwing the occasional customer out of a wager.

I also have a feeling that Mansion truly believes that there isn't a problem and that it's just a case of their customers being confused by the software. Until now, I was the only one I heard of that actually had a screenshot of a disappearing wager and I wasn't seeking a resolution, so until now they may not have even been presented with any real evidence.

Dark Horse and Rolemand are both reputable posters here at SBR and when they say there is a problem it should be taken seriously. Obviously this situation is not a fluke. I'm not sure why anyone would be questioning the validity of these complaints simply based on the fact that the problem hasn't hit them yet. Some valid response needs to come from Mansion as to why this is taking place. I've always thought Mansion to be a great product but these situations are quickly creating a "no confidence" scenario for this operation.

Has anyone affiliated with SBR been in contact with Mansion about this issue?

My apologies X. I did not mean to exclude your situation. I was writing on the fly and I didn't give my editor a chance to proof my post. Your repudability is unquestionable but of course Tacomax is the most reputable poster at this forum.

JJ resides at the other end of the reputation scale.

If it was interpreted that I felt Mansion was Scamming its customers that was not my intention.
All organisations have rogue employees that are either incapable or unwilling to do there jobs properly, and then cover there tracks in a variety of ways (I know Ive employed several of them).

Oh, that's an angle I hadn't thought of. Well, I can tell you in my case, it was pretty clearly not an in-house offer that I accepted and that later disappeared. I have no idea about the others.

I would never try to attain Taco's reputability. I'd be afraid of collapsing under the weight of my own reputation and going supernova.

I would try and be modest and play my contribution here down but I think you're pretty much spot on there.

Incidentally, how good is the relationship between SBR and Mansion? Can they help to get an answer from the "right" people? We know that if it was Betfair then there's not much that could be done but maybe Mansion are a little more.

it's very clear that Mansion needs to clean things up if they want to remain a highly rated book...haven't ever had my bets deleted, but this stuff isn't good...

It's really quite pathetic. Even Shit books manage to hold onto their ticket numbers.

Yes I just finished sending a copy of my correspendence to Mansion, along with the proof of my wager to assistance@sportsbookreview.com.

I wanted to be fair to Mansion and give them the full 24 hours they mentioned in the automatic email response. However, they failed to make good on that.

"We will endeavour to respond to you within the next 24 hours." quote from Mansion email

How long does it take SBR to contact me once I've sent them the info? I'm now starting to wonder if anyone got the emails I sent. No word from SBR. No word from Mansion.

Usually I get some feedback from SBR right away.
