How do I get SBR to look into this?
I have sent emails to assistance@sportsbookreview.com and bill_dozer@sportsbookreview.com.
I have also PM'ed Bill around noon today.
What am I doing wrong?
No one is stepping to the plate to help me in what should be the easiest case ever to win. I have a print screen with a betid, time of wager, amount risked and who I bet on.
In the past I've always received excellent service. Is it due to the weekend that SBR staff only works Mon-Fri?
There is definitely a problem with Mansion software as this is not the 1st time it's happened to me.

rolemand - remember that it's the weekend and so even if Bill Dozer is available then I'm betting that any contacts he might have at Mansion aren't. I'd like to hear the outcome of this one, though.

I had a weird experience there today, very weird !
I thought I bet SD -105 ( still in extra innings). It shows up as a winner on Cubs +1.5 runs, same -105, only bet I made there today.
I don't think I screwed it up, I'm experienced.
I almost never take +1.5 runs, plus I had CUBS +200 elsewhere, and Cubs and over parlay, and SD and over elsewhere, wanted some SD ML as well.
18 Sep 2006 22:08:30 1082530 Bet Chicago Cubs v Philadelphia Phillies Run Line Chicago Cubs +1.5 -105 210.95 411.85 0.00 Buyer Settled
Total 210.95 411.85 0.00

Maybe it was a genuine error - hopefully the outcome of rolemond's case will tell us whether or not there's something wrong with the Mansion software.

It must be my error is my conclusion, but I've made thousands of bets there, and wasn't even drinking at the time.

One problem with Mansion is their software. You can't have those two screens where you enter your bet and the confirmation screen look so closely alike. Whoever designed their software needs to definitely change this in their next upgrade. C'mon this is software design 101.

Rolemand,
The figure you are looking for should now be visible under your transaction history for the 14th. Their system has/had a delay in showing settled bets in the account history. Mansion also has a glitch in their wagering system as players have pointed out. It's rare and they initialy thought it was fixed. Everyone should keep a log of their bets.
Email service and CS in general, has been terrible the past couple of weeks. It's been brutal for US users because of the time change and their lack of a toll free number. Mansion wasn't prepared for the increase in activity this season, partly due to the promo. They have brought in more employees.
Anyone with a Mansion problem is welcome to call me at 830-515-4122.

Attempting to show transaction history let's see if this works
Ok you should see the accepted wager and then the cancelled wager on a spreadsheet. No credit given for the win obviously because they cancelled it.

Am I understanding this right ?
Mansion have accepted that their software has incorrectly deleted bets. Despite this they have done nothing to address the issue except note on the account that the bet was deleted. I am still awaiting for a response to my query regarding my 5 deleted bets.
I did get an email apologising for the delay and advising I would get a response within 24 hours, this was 34 hours ago ?
This problem does not appear to be getting resolved , is it time for a downgrade to be considered ?

Could've sworn I hit the reply button but here goes again.
I'm not sure what Mansions stance is on this. I finally got a reply about Monday after initially inquiring about my deleted wager on Thursday last week. There response didn't answer my question but further supported my position.
Bill is still handling the issue.

I just resubmitted my request to Mansion to pay me my winnings for a MLB wager that disappeared off the face of the earth. They previously ruled that I had never entered the bet. Now that they can no longer deny the glitch in their software I'm hoping they will reconsider.

A little off topic but I've begun taking screen shots (jpeg) of EVERY bet I make. "Pending Bets" is the best shot. I didnt used to do that.

Some time ago I also thought Mansion had lost one of my bets but finally came to the conclusion that it may be possible that I didn't noticed the status of the bet was 'offer' instead of 'bet' (maybe you remember the topic). In this thread I also suggested Mansion could send a confirmation email after every accepted bet. I think as long as there still is the possibility of a software error this could be a good idea.

I had a few bets like that which was caused by the screen showing old prices and so any bets I placed went into offers instead of bets (since the market had since moved despite what the screen was telling me). Obviously this didn't really happen since it has never happened to Slash.
Also, despite rolemand having evidence of deleted bets and Mansion admitting the deletion of bets it didn't really happen since it has never happened to Slash.

Yes, but as soon as they send you an email after every accepted bet you have this proof. For example 24hPoker does that.

I like your style. Maybe you can form some two-bit arbitration panel and make rulings based on such wise thinking as that?

Mansion Reply - FWIW
After extensive investigation by both our IT and Betting Operations Departments, we have established conclusively that your transaction 347557094 for a totals wager for $577.99 was not confirmed
Your bet amount was immediately returnedto you a little over one minute later when our system acknowledged that this particular transaction could not be completed. I refer you to the attachments I have included with this email confirming the cancellation and return of your bet amount.
I appreciate your disappointment as the bet that you attempted to make would have stood as a winner and that your subsequent similar bets were successfully placed and confirmed.
Even with the best systems available, there will always be unexpected circumstances that arise which are beyond the control of both parties. I would stress that Mansion has not benefited financially from this particular transaction as the bet amount was refunded before the start of the event.
We have no desire to disappoint you in this matter; you are a valued Member. However, we hope to have shown that we have never acted to deceive you in any way.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us
End of quote
Most obvious question is why didn't this go back into the system as an offer at the very least. They are admitting to accepting the wager, issuing a transaction #, and then there is a "confirmation" that needs to be done. What? Isn't that how you get a transaction # for an accepted "bet" and not an immediate placement of the wager into the "offer" section.
Major software problem.
I give up.

Yeah, that's an odd explanation. They say that it was a bet which was not confirmed yet they confirm the cancellation. How can you cancel a bet which wasn't a bet in the first place?
Wonder what Slash makes of all this?

Sounds familiar. During the game I asked them why my bet wasn't showing up! Then weeks later, after an 'indepth investigation', they tell me the bet doesn't show up in their records. I already knew that... My question was WHY?! After another investigation the answer is that I never placed it!!
Their standard answer now seems to include detailed step-by-step instructions on how to actually place a bet. Talk about adding insult to injury.
I told them during the game (in the second inning!) when the outcome was still in question, that my bet was missing. They never took that serious. They have a software glitch that they're aware of, so their records are imperfect, and yet they're relying on those records as if they're perfect.
