Magic 8 ball
Hey will someone (mods, perhaps) do a magic 8 ball selection. I'd be interested to pit this magic 8 ball against The Prickster on a weekly basis. I forgot to do it before making my picks, can't do it after.

Maybe Dan could do this? He isnt playing in the employee contest.
This could show how good that 8-ball is.

Can't you just click the 8 ball and then change your picks or does it automatically submit them? I kind of feel a strange karma to this though, maybe I'll give it a shot

I picks different teams each time you try it. No it dont submit right away, you have to click submit. It just picks teams at random. I still think Dan should do the "8 ball" picks.

Actually, M8B uses a very advanced quantitative algorithm, which I developed in conjunction with scientists at NASA and CERN laboratories. M8B was specifically designed to outperform human handicappers. I'm probably already saying too much, but rest assured that if you use M8B correctly, you will with 98%+ confidence have a non de minimus likelihood of winning.
Onlòóker correctly notes that each time one invokes the algorithm different results appear. This is due to quantum fluctuations in the interactions between the (largely deterministic) plasma dispersal core and the W vector boson weak force modulator. As such the decay in predictive power of M8B is quasi-exponential with each subsequent invocation.
Anyway, I've included M8B v0.877.12c as a test of its abilities. I'd suggest not using it too frequently as it has, in our first round of experimental trials, caused dizziness, nausea, headache, and dry mouth. In no circumstances should it ever be used while operating a motor vehicle. We've found that approximately 3 people out of 5,000 may substantially increase their risk of tonic-clonic (aka grand mal) seizures through overly frequent use of M8B. And of course, if you notice a purplish uneven rash developing, you should discontinue M8B use and consult a dermatological professional immediately.
Good luck,
Ganchrow

Wow! For some reason, I don't feel quite as smart now as I did before reading this thread.

If a mindblowingly sexy 5'6" blonde with green eyes and 36-25-36 mesaurements counts as cute, then I probably am.
