Default I am in some trouble guys....and I am going to get screwed i am sure :(

Normally I bet $75 a game except when i middle or try to scalp a game.

Well I thought i had a middle and i did for the most part.

    Over 51 (+111 @pinny)
    Under 52 (-110 @SIA)

Well i put $700/777 on the over and was ready to put $770 on the under at SIA but the line changed down to Under 51 very quickly. I said shucks...just have to even it out and I could profit $7.

Well turns out that the limitis are $440 on totals at SIA

So not only know middle opportunity...but even money. I have no idea what i am going to do right now. If the over doesn't hit...i've lost $300.

If the over hits, I've made $$337. That's basically the most I've ever bet on a game.

This is not what I like fellows...i am still hoping that Pinny will run it back up to 51...but it doesn't look good. I'll be sweating this one out.

    More information, BuddyBear.

What game is it and what bets (i.e. price and monetary value) have you already placed?

I think you are on the right side of the game with the over, but you should look to middle at half time if they score 4 TD's

I wouldn't do that, remember you are screwed actually even more if it hits 50 than 51

Kmd...i wasn't trying to win $7...i was trying to win $700 if the game landed on exactly 52...the line moved very quickly and then i found out my limit is only $440 even though sides are $1100...

    Advice guys???? Quick!

are you on the site it is 50 with -110 on both sides for me, but maybe they are profiling? But that would work good, actually you could scalp because you get a 10% bonus, deposit exactly 314, and put all your money on the under if you get that 51 line.

    as of now

    Over 51 $700/777

    Under 51 $440/400

    as you can see it's a $300 loss if i lose...or roughly 4 units from my total bankroll...coversely if i win it's a 4 unit profit

Should i just stick with my original bet?

Why is it shifting Under so much...anyone know

It's definitley a long shot...but it happens and it's 0% risk that's what makes it appealing. We've all seen scores like 28-24 and other familiar scores that add up to 52.

    52 would be nice today!

Yeah, the lines moved quickly on this. I went for arbs on this and got +107 and +109 at Matchbook for UTEP -7 and now the line there is -113.

You can buy a point and get under 51 at Sportingbet at -130. Or you can sit it out and pray it doesn't go the wrong way.

SIA often has nice prices on unders, but low limits.

In general you want to end up with too much on the other side of the bet, not the pin side. Good reason to play the other side first, then worry about pin if you plan to scalp or middle it back. At least then if you can't cover, you likely are holding a good bet, as it now you have the pin side which is usually an overall loser.

I'd wait for half time, as rm18 suggested.

    Just my opinion. Good luck.

Well i opened up an account at Bodog...what do you guys think go under 51 (-115) or wait to see how things are at halftime and then make a halftime bet?

what's the best course of action here?

I think bodog is good, but remember to bet every cent so if you lose the rollover requirement is fullfilled, and you actually will have a scalp on those $300

Okay...i did it and here are the details. Anxiety attack over:

    Over 51 (+111 @Pinnacle) $700/$777

    Under 51 (-110@SIA) $440/$400
    Under 51 (115 @Bodog)$330/$287
    _________________________________
    Total Amount Risked $770/$687

Now, the catch is i put in only $300 at bodog and got a 10% bonus. So if the game goes over (which I'll be rooting for) then I'll make $777-$740= +$37 profit.

But if it goes under then I'll have lost some money $687-$700 = -$13 and I'll be forced to play at Bodog for a little bit to meet rollover requirements.

I am almost inclined to root for a 27-24 final here. But a $37 profit would be nice out of this whole ordeal. Point of the story is to no your books limits on sides and totals!

Thanks for all the advice guys and good luck with your bets!

The more books the better ! I use about 10 at a time, but have over 50 total. I use different ones for different seasons.

I know guys with 50+ funded accounts.

No doubt a lot of advantages with multiple books...but for most us, we are just recreational guys. I have hard time keeping track of all my students' grades so having 10 or 20 books would be near impossible for me.

But line shopping is a must
