Actually, I think I'm to blame for some of it. My being openly bisexual on SBR seems to have allowing some posters the freedom to express their gay side on SBR, while others have taken the opportunity to invest extra time into proving their hetero-ness to the masses. All in all, I think it's been a change for the better. For instance, you now have the opportunity to open a thread and see a picture like this:
