Default Now that Sportingbet trading again, shares fall losing almost a billion in value.

Bets off as gambling shares fall
Shares in Sportingbet tumbled yesterday as investors deserted the troubled online gaming firm following the arrest of its chairman in the US.
Trading in the shares was suspended last week when Peter Dicks was arrested at JFK Airport in New York under laws covering "gambling by computer".
The 64-year-old was released on Friday after he put up bail of $50,000 (£27,500) and shares began trading again yesterday.
But they plunged by more than 40 per cent, wiping £400m off the value of the company as investors took fright.
The arrest of Mr Dicks, independent non-executive chairman of Sporting- bet, came just two months after BetonSports' chief executive was charged under the 1961 Wire Act, which bans the placing of bets on sporting events via the telephone in the US.
The arrests of two such high-profile industry figures have rocked the online gaming sector as doubts persist over its future in the key US market.
Sportingbet generates some 70 per cent of its profits from US punters and its businesses include well-known brands such as Paradise Poker.

Anyone know how to buy shares? A drop like that might be too much of an overcorrection. Might be time to buy.

Your full service broker can get them for you. Or, you can open an account with a UK broker but you will have to declare the account with the IRS, I think its form TD90-22.

Is there any way to buy shares in this company with a US online stock trading company (etrade, scottrade, etc)?

What is the share price now? Can someone please link me to a stat chart on it?

It was up just short of 7% today to 154p. Remember that it's not at so much a lower level than when BoS hit the fan. The stock has only lost around what it gained since then. Here's the chart for the last 12 months.

If i could afford more than 4 shares lol i might think about jumping on the bandwagon. was down to 147p i believe close at 192p yesterday but down to 166p currently. Im guessing its gonna be shaking for a few days to a week then start to head back to where it was before of atleast close to it. I bet some1 is going to make a huge check off of this by buy at 147p what a bargin
